The Neethlingshof Malbec is a powerful yet smooth red wine from the renowned Stellenbosch wine-growing region. The traditional Neethlingshof wine estate combines centuries-old winemaking skills with modern technology to create expressive wines with South African character. Malbec, originally native to France and made famous worldwide by Argentina, shows its very own interpretation here - with depth, spice and fine fruit.The grapes come from carefully selected plots and are harvested when fully ripe. After destemming and a short cold maceration, the must ferments in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to preserve the fruit and structure in the best possible way. The wine then matures for several months in French oak barrels. This maturation gives the Neethlingshof Malbec fine roasted aromas, notes of dark chocolate, cedar wood and vanilla, which combine harmoniously with the juicy fruit of blackberry, plum and cassis. It is full-bodied on the palate, with soft tannins and a long finish.This Malbec is an ideal accompaniment to grilled beef, rack of lamb, braised game dishes or spicy pasta dishes with truffles or mushrooms. Also a real treat with mature hard cheese or dark chocolate.

Neethlingshof Pinotage 2023

Die Farbe des Neethlingshof Pinotage ist rubinrot mit einem zarten Violett an den Rändern. Die Nase zeigt Aromen von Pflaume, Banane, dunklen Johannisbeeren und Zimt. Der Gaumen wird verwöhnt mit einem weichen, runden Körper, der deutlich die vollen Kirscharomen zum Vorschein bringt.Das gute Tanningerüst schafft eine wunderschöne Balance zur Fruchtigkeit. Die Trauben für den Neethlingshof Pinotage stammen von Reben die in nach Südosten ausgerichteten Weinbergen stehen und ca. 20 Jahre alt sind. Der Wein reifte für 9 Monate in 2/3 französischen und 1/3 amerikanischen Fässern. Etwa 40% der Fässer waren neu.Wir empfehlen Ihnen den südafrikanischen Pinotage zu einem Gourmet-Hamburger, Wildcarpaccio oder gereiftem Käse oder dunkler Schokolade.Dieser trockene Rotwein ist vegan.

The Neethlingshof Shiraz is a red wine full of character from the heart of South Africa's Stellenbosch wine region. At the traditional Neethlingshof wine estate, centuries-old winemaking skills meet modern cellar technology - the result: a Shiraz full of power, elegance and depth.The grapes for this Shiraz are harvested in the cool morning hours to preserve their freshness and aromas. After destemming, a temperature-controlled fermentation takes place to gently extract color and structure. The wine is then matured in a combination of French and American oak barrels.The Neethlingshof Shiraz sparkles a dark ruby red in the glass. The nose develops a floral fragrance combined with aromas of ripe red apples, black plums and a hint of lavender. On the palate, it has a dense texture, supple tannins and fine notes of vanilla, toast and dark chocolate, which blend harmoniously with the intense fruit of plums and cherries.A perfect accompaniment to grilled or braised meat such as lamb, beef or game. The Neethlingshof Shiraz also harmonizes perfectly with hearty dishes with Mediterranean herbs, spicy stews or mature cheese.

This wonderfully intense red wine from Apulia offers majestic notes of blueberries and blackberries, well rounded off by hints of Mediterranean herbs. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and warm, with lovely, sweet nuances. Using the traditional Appassimento method, the grapes ripen beyond the ripeness date and dry on the vines. They shrivel almost to the size of a raisin, thus gaining aromas, acidity and a higher sugar concentration. The exceptionally rich wines produced from these grapes are characterised by an intense bouquet offering notes of dried fruit. These wines are also full-bodied and show a remarkable spice.The Italian wine expert Luca Maroni awarded this wine 97 points (Luca Maroni Award 2018).

This ruby-red blend was made from vines that were separately aged in oak casks of different sizes, giving the Niepoort Fabelhaft Reserva Tinto its special complexity. Its bouquet is characterised by notes of wild berries, blossoms, pepper and a fine spice. On the palate, the wine is elegant, showing lots of body and structure, pleasant acidity and wonderfully integrated tannins.It matured for a total of 22 months. Local grape varieties such as Tinta Amarela, Touriga Franca, Rufete and Tinta Roriz unite here in wonderful interaction. The finish is long-lasting.Try this wine with meat with light sauces, game like pheasant, partridge or wild duck and pasta with meat sauces that are not too rich. This Reserva has a high ageing potential.

Notes of black cherries and blossoms as well as balsamic nuances and a lovely spice characterise the bouquet of the Niepoort Fabelhaft Tinto. This blend, consisting of local grape varieties such as Tinta Amarela, Tinta Roriz, Touriga Francesa and Touriga Nacional, is wonderfully fresh and vivid on the palate, showing a great balance, elegance, lots of fruit, balanced acidity and ripe, slightly sweet tannins.One fifth of the red wine matured for 12 months in used barriques made of French oak. This is an ideal starter wine to get to know the red wines from the Niepoort estate. It is a good accompaniment to vegetable casseroles, rabbit, lamb, veal, ham, tapas or medium-aged cheeses. The Niepoort Fabelhaft Tinto also goes beautifully with pasta with dark sauces or a vegetarian pizza.The label depicts a scene from Wilhelm Busch’s renowned picture story ‘Hans Huckebein der Unglücksrabe’ (Hans Huckebein - The Unlucky Raven). As animal stories that contain a moral are known as a fable (‘Fabel’ in German), the Niepoort estate decided to call this wine ‘Fabelhaft’ (meaning ‘fabled’ or ‘fabulous’ in German).

Nuiton-Beaunoy Bourgogne Pinot Noir - fruity Burgundy full of expression.The winegrowers of the Nuiton-Beaunoy cooperative have been dedicated to winegrowing on the Côte d'Or since 1957. The vines are over 20 years old and grow on clay and limestone soils, which give the Pinot Noir its typical elegance and structure.Vinification is carried out carefully in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks before ageing on the lees, also in stainless steel. This preserves the clear fruit, while the wine gains additional fullness and liveliness.In the glass, the Nuiton-Beaunoy Bourgogne Pinot Noir is a deep purple red with violet reflections. The nose reveals aromas of red fruits such as cherries and redcurrants as well as dark notes of blackberries and blackcurrants. On the palate, the red wine is lively, juicy and round, with a generous, fruity structure.This Nuiton-Beaunoy Bourgogne Pinot Noir is an excellent accompaniment to fillet of beef, braised veal shoulder or mature cheese. It is best served at 14 to 16 °C to bring out its fruity elegance and full character. With a maturation potential of around 5 years, it also offers fine development in the bottle.

Olianas Cannonau di Sardegna DOC 2021

Der Olianas Cannonau di Sardegna DOC aus dem sardinischen Gebiet Anfiteatro gedeiht in einem Tal, das ganztägig der südlichen Sonne ausgesetzt ist. Dadurch werden die Trauben mit viel Frucht, Struktur und Komplexität versorgt. Der immer gleichzeitig vorherrschende Wind sorgt für einen kühlenden Ausgleich. Das Besondere an diesem Wein ist sein biodynamischer Ansatz. Es werden weder Enzyme noch Reinzuchthefen bei der Gärung verwendet. Etwa ein Drittel des Mostes wird in Amphoren bis zu 25 Tage auf den Schalen vergoren. Das erreicht die intensiv dunkelrote Farbe. Die Reifung erfolgte für etwa 8 Monate in französischen Eichenfässern zweiter und dritter Füllung. Um den natürlichen Charakter des Weins zu erhalten wurde bewusst auf eine Klärung verzichtet. In der Nase finden sich Aromen von Waldfrüchten und rauchige Noten. Am Gaumen ist der Olianas Cannonau di Sardegna DOC frisch, rund und sehr lebendig. Die gut eingebundenen Tannine und die angenehme Säure wirken ausgewogen und konzentriert.

Der Onix Fusio Priorat DOQ ist ein ausdrucksstarker Rotwein aus der prestigeträchtigen Weinregion Priorat in Katalonien, Spanien.
