Dieser Rotwein aus dem Piemont ist eine ideale Wahl, um sich etwas zu gönnen und den Alltag mit einem Glas Batasiolo Barbera d’Asti ausklingen zu lassen. Das Bukett ist intensiv und eindrucksvoll komplex. Fruchtige Noten von Brombeeren und Heidelbeeren im Vordergrund, wunderbar ergänzt durch Noten von Orangenschalen. Dazu kommt eine stützende Würze (Muskatnuss und schwarzer Pfeffer).

Am Gaumen ist die Kreation von Hügeln in der Provinz Asti im Piemont trocken und rund. Der reinsortige Barbera beeindruckt mit seiner großen Frische, gutem Körper und einer feinen Säure. Das Finale ist geprägt von einer leichten Würze und hallt länger nach.

Rubinrot mit violetten Reflexen schimmert der Batasiolo Barbera d’Alba im Glas. Der Rotwein aus dem Piemont duftet herrlich anregend nach Pflaumen und Kirschen. Dazu bereichern florale Noten das Bukett (Veilchen und Rosen). Hintergründige, würzige Noten komplettieren den Duftstrauß.Am Gaumen ist der Rotwein aus dem Piemont vollmundig und trocken, mit einer angenehm milden Säure, viel Fruchtigkeit (süßliche, schwarze Früchte), Nuancen von Schokolade und einer tollen Frische. Das Finale ist angenehm weich. Die Trauben für den Batasiolo Barbera D'Alba werden in Edelstahltanks vergoren. Etwa 40 Prozent des Weines reifte für ein Jahr in Barriques aus französischer Eiche heran, der übrige Teil in großen Holzfässern aus slawonischer Eiche.
