Argiolas Turriga Isola dei Nuraghi Rosso IGT

Argiolas Turriga Isola dei Nuraghi is perhaps the best red wine that Sardinia has to offer. International wine critics - from James Suckling to Robert Parker's Wine Advocate and Gambero Rosso - award this blend of typical Sardinian grape varieties top marks year after year. The jurors leave no doubt that this red wine from the Argiolas family winery is of inestimable value to the reputation of viticulture in Sardinia.

Seductive notes of ripe cherries and plums characterize the bouquet and harmonize perfectly with beautiful vanilla tones, roasted notes and a warm herbal spice. The Argiolas Turriga Isola dei Nuraghi leaves a great impression on the palate with its soft, perfectly integrated tannins and outstanding structure and balance. Aromas of cassis also characterize this experience for the senses, which lingers for a long time thanks to its great density.

This powerful wine is already a delight in its youth, but has ageing potential that extends beyond 2040! This phenomenal creation from the Cannonau, Carignano, Bovale Sardo and Malvasia Nera grape varieties is aged for 18 months in new oak barrels from France, which gives the red wine its seductive vanilla aroma.

The Argiolas Turriga Isola dei Nuraghi sparkles dark ruby red in the glass. Enjoy this red wine from extremely low-yielding vineyards in the south of Sardinia, whose meticulously selected grapes offer all the more intensity, at a drinking temperature of 15 to 18 degrees. It goes well with grilled red meat, lamb or even a delicate cheese. We recommend Sardinian pecorino or parmesan.

Cantine Argiolas
