The strictly limited cuvée comes from a particularly characterful vineyard on the estate and is part of the "Double Door" series, which leaves room for creative, terroir-driven wines.Both the estate's own grapes and selected grapes from neighboring vineyards are used for this single-varietal Petit Verdot. The wine is vinified traditionally and matured for 24 months in French oak barrels. With the Double Door range, La Bri creates space for creative wines beyond rigid conventions - as is the case with this powerful, multi-layered red wine cuvée. The Double Door Red Blend combines 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 34% Merlot, 15% Petit Verdot and 6% Cabernet Franc to create a harmonious whole with structure, finesse and elegance.Only grapes from the estate were used for this wine. After fermentation, the individual batches matured for 24 months in used French barriques before being blended into a precisely balanced cuvée. The longer maturation period ensures a harmonious balance between fruit, spice and velvety tannins.The La Bri Double Door Red Blend impresses with a deep dark color and aromas of blackcurrants, plums, spices and fine roasted aromas. The La Motte Millennium is a remarkable blend from the traditional La Motte Wine Estate in South Africa's Franschhoek Valley.It is intense on the nose, with aromas of cherry, mulberry and cinnamon. Due to the ageing in oak barrels, notes of caramel are also noticeable. Velvety and juicy on the palate, with pronounced aromas of berries. La Sirène de Giscours Margaux is the second wine from the world-famous Château Giscours in Margaux and consists of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Cabernet Franc, 10% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot. A wonderful Margaux seducer that has benefited from 30% new barrels during maturation.A dark garnet red in the glass, the nose is delicately spicy, with dark berries, leading into a cedar bouquet, blackcurrants and some roasted notes. The body of this dry wine is round and deep, with spicy notes lingering on the long finish.Please decant this French red wine at least one hour before drinking! Of course, it can also be aged in the cellar for several years. The grapes for each variety used in this blend come from selected vineyards in the Jonkershoek Valley in South Africa. The grapes were harvested by hand and selected with the utmost care. Only the best grapes made it into this exceptional red wine. Fermentation and maturation took place in French oak. This expressive Cabernet-based blend is full of aromas of black cherry, chocolate, spices and a hint of cassis. On the palate, the Lanzerac Jonkershoek Reserve is juicy, supple and with silky, integrated tannins. Château Latour ranks among the most famous wine producers in the world. Its second wine Les Forts de Latour is produced with the same precision brought to bear in the grand vin. Les Pagodes de Cos is the second wine from the renowned Château Cos d'Estournel in Saint-Estèphe, which, together with Château Montrose, has been at the top of the appellation for years. The grapes for "The Pagodas" from Cos - and the château, which resembles an Indian temple, really does have some - come from selected plots on the estate and give the wine its own personality. This is somewhat more accessible and perhaps a little less complex than the Grand Vin, but it is a pleasure to drink with its velvety texture, freshness and beautiful fruit.54% Cabernet Sauvignon, 37% Merlot, 6% Cabernet Franc and 3% Petit Verdot give the wine its attractive, mineral and rather soft character. Der Madame de Beaucaillou, aus dem "outstanding"-Jahrgang 2020, stammt vom renommierten Château Ducru-Beaucaillou aus der Appellation Saint-Julien. Wenn ein Wein das Synonym für Finesse, Tiefe und perfekte Struktur ist, dann ist es dieses Weingut vom linken Ufer, das in der Klassifikation von 1855 als deuxième Cru geadelt wurde.Der Madame de Beaucaillou , bestehend aus 66% Merlot, 24% Cabernet Sauvignon und 10% Petit Verdot, ist eine leichtere Spielart des Grand Vin, mit mehr Betonung auf der Frucht und Zugänglichkeit, bedingt durch den deutlich höheren Merlot Anteil. Obschon Ducru-Beaucaillou in Saint-Julien ansässig ist, liegen die Weinberge des Madame de Beaucaillou im Haut-Médoc, so dass er dieser AOC zugerechnet wird.Er reift für 12 Monate in Eichenfässern nach mit einem Neufassanteil von 20%.Eine tief violette Farbe begrüsst das Auge. In der Nase viel rote Früchte, Pflaumen, süsse Kirschen und Veilchenimpressionen. Am Gaumen schön rund, stoffig und mit einem wahren Fruchtkorb roter und dunkler Beerenfrüchte. Der Nachhall ist lang und spiegelt die Eindrücke am Gaumen perfekt wieder. Insgesamt eine sehr gelungene Mixtur von Frische, Struktur und Frucht, die uns hier mehr als begeistert hat.
