La Motte Millennium

The La Motte Millennium is a remarkable blend from the traditional La Motte Wine Estate in South Africa's Franschhoek Valley.

It is intense on the nose, with aromas of cherry, mulberry and cinnamon. Due to the ageing in oak barrels, notes of caramel are also noticeable. Velvety and juicy on the palate, with pronounced aromas of berries. A medium-bodied wine full of finesse and elegance.

The grapes for La Motte Millennium come from the Walker Bay, Villiersdorp, Franschhoek and Stellenbosch regions. This diversity of terroirs also contributes to the special complexity. The different grape varieties matured separately for 12 months in French oak - 30% new barrels and 70% older barrels were used.

Enjoy this wine with hearty roast lamb, game variations, grilled steaks and mature cheese.

Holden Manz Visionaire
The name Holden Manz Visionaire already hides something special. It is an attempt to create an expressive wine from 6 different grape varieties. And it has succeeded! After 24 months of ageing, the wines were blended and bottled. The result is a wine of incredible complexity, with a perfect balance between residual sugar and acidity. The nose is spoiled by a multitude of aromas, such as mulberry, redcurrant, delicate notes of white pepper and violets. On the palate, the Holden Manz Visionaire is elegant and smooth with medium maturity. It is dominated by red and black fruits with an exceptional minerality.
