Les Forts de Latour 2011

Château Latour ranks among the most famous wine producers in the world. Its second wine Les Forts de Latour is produced with the same precision brought to bear in the grand vin. The main differences are that the Les Forts de Latour has a higher percentage of Merlot (25-30%) and it matured in oak casks, of which 50% were new barrels.

The Les Forts de Latour 2011 is a deep, dense purple in the glass. Fruitiness and floral notes characterize its bouquet. On the palate, the wine is sumptuous and velvety, with a complex, powerful and prolonged finish. Bordeaux expert René Gabriel writes about this assemblage consisting of 61.5% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot, 3% Petit Verdot and 0.5% Cabernet Franc: “This wine has a brilliant, baroque, quite warm Cabernet bouquet hinting of coffee and dark precious wood, with an amazing depth.” Robert Parker judges: “One of the finest second wines now being made.”

Stag's Leap S.L.V. Cabernet Sauvignon
Robert Parker enthuses about the S.L.V. Cabernet Sauvignon, describing it as offering ‘sweet tannins, a succulent, fleshy mouthfeel, beautiful concentration and texture, and a long finish result in a sumptuous, irresistible mouthful of Cabernet Sauvignon’.The S.L.V. Cabernet Sauvignon has a fascinatingly multi-faceted bouquet offering aromas of cocoa powder, blackberries, currants and blueberries, which harmonize perfectly with a lovely spice. On the palate, the Stag’s Leap Vineyards is opulent and concentrated, with simultaneously powerful and round tannins. Notes of black currants and sweet oak characterize its finish. The wonderfully structured tannins, the lush fruit and the pleasant minerality signal the exceptional storage capability of this Cabernet Sauvignon from California. The Stag‘s Leap Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon matured for 21 months in new French oak casks. The grapes of individual parcels of land were vinified separately and only blended at the end of the barrel ageing. The S.L.V. (Stag‘s Leap Vineyards) wines are legendary. The exemplary vintage passed without any erratic weather conditions, providing the wine-growers with exceptional grapes and resulting in the S.L.V. Domaines Ott Rosé Château de Selle Rosé Coeur de Grain
Domaines Ott Rosé Château de Selle Rosé Coeur de Grain is an elegant rosé. It has a light, peachy-pink color with golden reflections. The bouquet combines fruity notes of apricot and cherry with floral notes of acacia and broom. On the palate, the dry rosé wine has a subtle balance between lively, clear citrus notes and soft, round notes of fresh fruit and mimosa. The finish is pure and dense with lingering aromas of sweet spices.Domaines Ott's growing regions in Provence bring outstanding characteristics to the table: the astringency of Château de Selle, the exoticism of Clos Mireille and the elegance of Château Romassan. The French winery itself writes: "Exceptional conditions that give our wines their soul."The bottles in which you receive the Domaines Ott wines are also extraordinary. The shape is reminiscent of antique amphorae. Created in the 1930s, they have lost none of their modernity and at the same time remind us of the rich tradition of winegrowing in Provence.

Napa Cellars Chardonnay
This high-quality Cellars Chardonnay from the Napa Valley smells of vanilla, caramel, honeydew melon and nuances of freshly baked apple pie. On the palate, this white wine from coastal vineyards is very smooth, with a balanced acidity and a rather creamy finish. The interplay of aromas is reminiscent of marshmallows roasting over a campfire. The Napa Cellars Chardonnay comes from sites that are ideal for the Chardonnay grape, such as the southern Napa Valley and Carneros. The fog and cooling winds from San Francisco and Marin Bay allow the grapes to ripen longer and develop their special depth of aroma and crisp acidity. This white wine matured for eight months in oak, with more than 90 percent French barrels being used (almost a quarter new barrels).Try the Napa Cellars Chardonnay with French soft cheese with honey or panna cotta with fresh berries. A real taste experience from California.

Bibi Graetz Colore 2018
