The Beyerskloof Eerste Ry Cabernet Sauvignon is an outstanding red wine from the prestigious Beyerskloof Winery in Stellenbosch, South Africa. "Eerste Ry" means "first row" and thus describes the type of grapes that come from the first plantings on the winery. Eerste Ry symbolically refers to the oldest vineyards.On the nose, the Beyerskloof Eerste Ry Cabernet Sauvignon impresses with a complex bouquet of dark fruits such as blackcurrants, cassis and blackberries. These aromas are accompanied by subtle spicy notes, tobacco and a hint of oak from the ageing in barrels. The wine spent a total of 24 months in new French oak barrels. It is then matured in the bottle for a further 2 years. On the palate, there are hints of dark chocolate and spicy cedar. The structure of this wine is characterized by strong, yet supple tannins. Beyerskloof Synergy Cape Blend 2024

The Beyerskloof Synergy is a Cape blend like no other. As one of the first of its kind in South Africa, it combines the structure of Cabernet Sauvignon with the fruitiness of Pinotage and the softness of Merlot. A small proportion of Shiraz gives the red wine its spice and minerality. The wine matured for 14 months in first (10%), second and third fill French oak barrels.The color of the Beyerskloof Synergy Cape Blend is dark red and slightly shiny ruby red at the edges. The bouquet is almost effervescently intense of black fruits. The mouthfeel is juicy, soft and full-bodied. It is reminiscent of sweet cedar wood aromas, cherry and lots of black fruit. The wonderfully integrated tannins beautifully support the balance and complexity of the Synergy Cape blend. The De Blaauwe Klip 2020 is a South African Bordeaux-style blend. The Blaauwklippen winery, located 5 kilometers south of Stellenbosch city center, has combined the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon (largest proportion), Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Petit Verdot and Merlot to create an outstanding red wine.The bouquet of this red wine from the Cape has a seductive aroma of dark cassis, cigar box and cedar wood. These notes harmonize perfectly with nuances of plums and chocolate.De Blaauwe Klip is dry on the palate, with a full body and great energy. The Boekenhoutskloof Cabernet Sauvignon is an elegant and powerful red wine from South Africa that impresses with its remarkable depth, structure and aromatic complexity. This red wine made from Cabernet Sauvignon and a small proportion of Cabernet Franc comes from organically farmed vineyards in Franschhoek. The grapes are carefully harvested by hand, rigorously selected and then fermented spontaneously in egg-shaped concrete tanks. The wine is matured in 95% new French oak barrels - a vinification process that gives the wine its elegant texture, velvety tannins and characteristic roasted aromas.In the glass, the wine is a deep purple red. From the very first whiff, it reveals a complex bouquet of dark berries, eucalyptus, graphite and herbs such as lavender and thyme. There are also nuances of liquorice, black tea and fine spices, which underline the aristocratic character of this Cabernet Sauvignon. On the palate, the wine is concentrated but never overloaded. The fruit is densely interwoven with a fine minerality, the acid structure is precise, the tannins ripe and supple.
