The Paserene Elements Bright Chardonnay is a brilliant white wine from the Western Cape that impresses with its radiant fruit, fine acid structure and subtle use of wood. Grown in the deep sandy soils of South Africa, it impressively reflects the clarity and vibrancy of its terroir. With notes of ripe stone fruit, citrus zest and a salty minerality, this wine is a real highlight for lovers of elegant white wines.

The hand-picked Chardonnay grapes were gently pressed and fermented spontaneously in oak barrels. Regular stirring of the yeast (bâtonnage) added complexity and structure to the wine. 10% of the wine matured in new oak, 90% in neutral wood - a harmonious combination that preserves both fullness and freshness.

In the glass, the Paserene Elements Bright Chardonnay has a lively green-golden hue. The nose is dominated by ripe yellow peach, lemon zest and delicate hints of sea salt, chalk and vanilla. Elegant and creamy on the palate, with a lively acidity that carries the wine through to the long, clear finish.

This Chardonnay is a versatile food companion: it harmonizes wonderfully with grilled white fish in lemon butter, mild coconut-based curry dishes or roast chicken with fresh herbs. Best served at 10-12°C.

It comes from two of South Africa's best-known wine regions: the cool, mineral-rich Elgin Valley and the fruit-driven Franschhoek. This harmonious combination is reflected in the glass with brilliant fruit, clear acidity and an elegant, tropical-mineral profile.The grapes come in equal parts from Elgin and Franschhoek and are carefully processed. After fermentation in matured, steamed barrels, the wine matures for 16 months - an ageing process that gives the Sauvignon Blanc structure and depth without losing its freshness. The philosophy in the cellar is based on minimal intervention in order to bring out the natural profile of the grapes and the terroir in the best possible way.In the glass, Emerald presents itself in a bright green-gold color. The nose is dominated by exotic fruit aromas such as mango, passion fruit and pineapple, complemented by lime, cantaloupe and fine herbal spice. The Paserene winery, known for its uncompromising quality standards and sustainable viticulture, brings a luxurious white wine to the glass with this Chardonnay, which masterfully combines floral freshness, fine minerality and a velvety texture.The Chardonnay grapes are carefully harvested by hand and gently pressed. After a short resting phase in stainless steel tanks, spontaneous fermentation takes place in French oak barrels, giving the wine depth and complexity. The wine is aged for 24 months, with around 30% of the barrels already used. This ensures an elegant balance between fruit, freshness and fine wood structure without overpowering the wine. The mineral-rich Ferricrete soils of Elgin and the cool climate also ensure taut acidity and great finesse.In the glass, the Chardonnay is a bright gold with greenish reflections. The nose reveals complex aromas of citrus blossom, neroli and fine blossom honey, accompanied by roasted almonds and a hint of vanilla. On the palate, the wine is creamy and precise at the same time - notes of honey, brioche and ripe stone fruit meet a clear minerality and lively acidity. The Eikendal Chardonnay is an expressive white wine from Stellenbosch in South Africa that impresses with its elegance and structure. Delicate aromas of orange peel and floral blossom notes meet a firm mouthfeel and lively acidity. On the finish, the wine is fresh, precise and has a clear, mineral core.The grapes come from high-altitude sites on Helderberg Mountain, which are exposed to cool winds from False Bay - a perfect terroir for fresh and exciting Chardonnays. The vines grow on weathered granite with clay and gravel and produce low yields of the highest quality.In the cellar, the grapes are gently pressed as whole bunches to preserve freshness and clarity. Some of the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation in wood, while the rest is transferred to French oak barrels after alcoholic fermentation. The Chardonnay matures for a total of 10 months on the fine lees in 500-liter barrels (20% of which are new wood), which gives it a fine creaminess and additional depth.The Eikendal Chardonnay is a wine with ageing potential that goes perfectly with spicy Asian dishes such as Thai green curry, nasi goreng or smoked fish.
