Peter Zemmer Furggl Lagrein Reserve DOC 2022

In the South Tyrolean “Unterland”, in the middle of the valley, surrounded by orchards and vineyards near the river Adige lies the traditional winery Peter Zemmer. The Lagrein Reserve is a wonderful creation from the autochthonous variety.The characterful red wine has a garnet red color with purple hues. On the nose, a gorgeous multifaceted bouquet, with notes of violets, dark chocolate, berries, licorice and vanilla. On the palate, velvety, with a clear structure and supple, soft tannins.The wine comes from selected individual vineyards. 15 months the Lagrein Reserve matured in barrique-barrels, after the assemblage ten months in large oak barrels. This was followed by a six-month aging on the bottle. The wine is thanks to this long maturation phase remarkably balanced.Enjoy this fine wine with red meats, game dishes or spicy cheese.

The white wine impresses with its strong aroma.All the charm of South Tyrol can be found in a glass of Peter Zemmer Gewürztraminer. This white wine has been cultivated in the region since the 11th century. It has an intense straw to golden yellow color in the glass. Its aroma is characterized by spicy notes, accompanied by sweet, muscatel-like nuances of dried flowers, cloves and rose petals. Gewürztraminer pampers the palate with a full-bodied, spicy, rich, lively and fresh taste and harmoniously balanced acidity. The favorable location of the vineyards, the direct sunlight and the good aeration of the grapes provide the best conditions for this Traminer from the traditional Peter Zemmer winery.Serve the wine slightly chilled at a drinking temperature of 12 to 14 °C. Rotari Cuvee 28 owes its name to its long refinement on its yeast, which gives it decided yet elegant, fresh, and persistent characteristics.This particular Cuvee is obtained from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir that are precisely selected. Rotari Cuvee 28 is a wine produced with the second fermentation in the bottle according to the Metodo Classico tradition with respect to the Trento DOC discipline. The refinement on its lees for 28 months gives this wine important notes of bread crusts and hazelnut while at the same time maintaining a freshness that really stands out along with a pleasantness of aromas and tastes.Metodo Classico, Método Tradicional, Methode Champenoise: are all ways of identifying the earliest and most refined production method of sparkling wines obtained through a second fermentation in the bottle.Talento identifies the excellence of Italian sparkling wine.
