Der Mezzacorona Castel Firmian Fildirose Pinot Grigio Rose ist ein besonderer Wein. Eigentlich ist die Pinot Grigio Traube als Weißwein bekannt, jedoch haben die Pinot Grigio-Weinberge am Fuße der Dolomiten, da stammen die Trauben für diesen Rose her, eine leicht rosa Färbung mit gräulichen Reflexen. Lässt man nun die Schalen länger mit dem Most zusammen, nimmt der Wein eine zart kupferfarbene Tönung an. Die Nase des Mezzacorona Castel Firmian Fildirose Rose zeigt ein lebhaftes und frisches Aromaprofil. Rote Früchte, Zitrus und rosa Grapefruit prägen ebenso wie zarte Blumennoten den Duft. Am Gaumen überzeugt der Rose mit einer schönen Mineralität und einer leicht salzigen Note. The Castel Firmian Moscato Giallo, produced by the cooperative wine-growers from Mezzacorona, is a wonderfully accessible taste experience from South Tyrol. The white wine has an intense bouquet offering tropical aromas and notes of sun-ripened fruit. On the palate, the Moscato is sweet and very aromatic.The intensively straw-yellow wine from the southern part of the province of Trentino near Lake Garda is partly made from yellow Muscat grapes that dried naturally on the vine. The Castel Firmian Moscato Giallo goes beautifully with desserts that are typical of the Trentino region such as apple strudel, fruitcake, dried fruit and biscuits.

This Pinot Gris from South Tyrol has a wonderfully multi-faceted bouquet offering notes of white peach, pear, camomile and, due to the ageing in wooden casks, sweet aromas. The Castel Firmian Pinot Grigio Riserva is harmonious, elegant and refined on the palate, showing a fresh, aromatic finish.Forty per cent of this light yellow white wine was aged in steel tanks, while the rest matured in barriques before the wine was blended after 10 to 11 months. The result is a complex Pinot Gris that unites the typical hints of vanilla and ripe fruit with a great freshness and the fragrances of a Pinot Gris from the province of Trentino.Enjoy this white wine from the Etsch Valley with gratins, polenta or white meat.
