Over the decades, the Jean Stodden estate from the Rhineland-Palatinate has earned its position as one of the best producers of Pinot noir in Germany. The Jean Stodden Pinot Noir is wonderfully fruity in the nose, with aromas of red berries and cherries, complemented by youthfully spicy fruit. On the palate, the wine has a good, clear structure with elegantly integrated tannins. The cuvée from vineyards located in the Ahr region matured in old 1000-litre oak casks. José Maria da Fonseca Ripanco VR 2021

The Ripanco VR was pressed at José Maria da Fonsecas’ winery in Alentejo, Portugal. The Shiraz, Alicante Bouschet, Argonez and Trincadeira grape varieties unite here to create this dry red wine. To the Ripanco, José Maria da Fonsecas used an ancient, traditional production method. The grapes were slightly crushed by foot and subsequently carefully destemmed using a kind of washboard, making the wine soft and very drinkable.After the grapes were pressed and destemmed, the juice was aged for 6 months in new French and American oak casks. This special cuvée is a deep ruby-red in the glass. On the nose, it offers wonderful aromas of cigar smoke, chocolate and dried figs. On the palate, the wine offers notes of cigar tobacco, with fresh, round tannins. The José Maria da Fonseca Ripanco VR has an impressive, medium-length finish.Serve this surprising red wine well-chilled at 16-18 °C (60.8-64.4 °F) with red meat or various cheeses.

Like "Kaikenes" - Patagonian wild geese crossing the Andes between Chile and Argentina - the famous winery Viña Montes has gone the way from Chile to Argentina to lead the project “Kaiken” to success. Kaiken uses the best growing areas of Argentina - Maipú, Cruz de Piedra, Ugarteche, Agrelo and Valle de Uco. The blend of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Malbec and 8% Petit Verdot comes from vineyards in Agrelo and Valle de Uco. It has a very dark reddish-purple colour. On the nose it offers the classic Cabernet aromas of black currants and juicy cherries, elegantly highlighted with the subtle scent of violets of Malbec and perfectly integrated oak notes. On the palate, Cabernet Sauvignon provides the juicy dark berry flavors, Malbec complements with silky mature tannins and Petit Verdot completes the blend with clear structure and depth, powerful with a rich, fresh fruit. The finale has a nice length. Enjoy the blend, matured to 50% for ten months in French oak barrels, with hearty lamb or roast beef in red wine sauce, grilled beef steaks, spicy pasta dishes and spicy mature cheeses.
