Over the decades, the Jean Stodden estate from the Rhineland-Palatinate has earned its position as one of the best producers of Pinot noir in Germany. The Jean Stodden Pinot Noir is wonderfully fruity in the nose, with aromas of red berries and cherries, complemented by youthfully spicy fruit. On the palate, the wine has a good, clear structure with elegantly integrated tannins. The cuvée from vineyards located in the Ahr region matured in old 1000-litre oak casks.
