This pure Nero d'Avola is undoubtedly one of the showpieces of the Sicilian Mandrarossa wine line. The bouquet of this red wine seduces with powerful notes of blackberries and cherries. Aged for twelve months in barriques, this top wine offers a great depth of aroma on the palate, with notes of dark berries, plums and dates, complemented by a beautiful spiciness as well as nuances of pine and well-integrated wood notes. The impressive smoothness and fine minerality round off the taste experience.

This wonderful Nero d’Avola from the wine-growing region of Sambuca di Sicilia is an intense ruby-red in the glass. The very first impression of the bouquet promises an exceptional taste experience. The wine is very intense on the palate, offering notes of ripe plums and blossom extracts.The Vigneti Zabu Chiantari Nero d’Avola is balanced and warm on the palate, with fine, well-structured tannins, giving the wine elegance and length. Its finish is characterised by light wood aromas and notes of herbs, along with a fine spice. Initially, the destemmed grapes were cooled, and the subsequent maceration lasted about 10-12 days.Subsequently, the wine was fermented in cement tanks and underwent a second malolactic fermentation in wooden casks. Afterwards, the wine was aged in French oak casks for at least 6 months. The Vigneti Zabu Chiantari Nero d’Avola is an ideal accompaniment to red meat or game, particularly wildfowl.
