The Dornier Sirene Syrah is a red wine full of character from the Stellenbosch wine region in South Africa. It combines the special terroir conditions of the Simonsberg with traditional craftsmanship to create an elegant yet powerful wine that delights Syrah lovers with its intense fruit and complex aromas.The vines for this wine thrive on the slopes of the Simonsberg on deep red soils. The north-eastern exposure and proximity to the mountain ensure that the first rays of sunshine reach the vineyard later in the morning, while cool south-easterly winds in the summer months keep the vines healthy. This combination of climate and soil creates ideal conditions for slow, even ripening of the grapes.The grapes are fermented in open stainless steel tanks, with pumping over twice a day to ensure optimal extraction of fruit aromas and tannins. After alcoholic fermentation, the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation before maturing for 15 months in second and third passage French oak barrels. This gentle ageing process preserves the fine fruit aromas and gives the wine its elegant structure.In the glass, the Dornier Sirene Syrah has a deep, dark red color and an intense bouquet of ripe dark berries, accompanied by spicy notes and a hint of violets. On the palate, it impresses with a harmonious balance of velvety tannins, concentrated fruit and a long, elegant finish.This Syrah is an excellent accompaniment to spicy grilled meat, lamb dishes and game as well as hearty stews.

Deep, intense garnet colour with reddish reflexes. Clear and brilliant colour.Very intense aromas of red fruits with undertones of toasted sour cherry.Very ample in the mouth, with great body and structure, the palate is fresh and very elegant.Malolactic fermentation took place in barrels (including new and one fill barrels) and 6,200 litre casks, both of French oak. Ageing in wood lasted 20 months.Serve with richly flavoured dishes, game, and roasted cod. It pairs quite well with soft and pasty sheep’s milk cheeses.

Dürnberg Zweigelt Falkenstein 2022

The vines for the Dürnberg Zweigelt Bodenschatz grow on weathered lacustrine lime and clay soils. The soil is rich in humus, which stores water well. The fully ripe, healthy grapes are harvested at the beginning of October. After harvest, the burst grapes are fermented in tubs for two weeks initially. Afterwards, they are pressed and aged for five to eight months partly in 500-litre oak casks and partly in steel tanks, resulting in a complex, elegant red wine with a cool minerality.On the nose, the aromatic and well-balanced Zweigelt offers fine, spicy nuances, along with strong cherry aromas. Eikendal Cabernet Merlot 2022

The Eikendal Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot is a powerful red wine cuvée in the classic Bordeaux style - full of character, full-bodied and typical of the renowned Stellenbosch wine region. The nose is dominated by ripe aromas of blackberries and blackcurrants, complemented by notes of cassis and a subtle earthiness, which are particularly typical of Cabernet Sauvignon. On the palate, the wine impresses with concentrated, fleshy fruit, fine-meshed tannins and a perfect balance of fruity richness and spicy, sweetish toasted aromas of French oak.The grapes come from high-altitude vineyards on mineral-rich "Koffieklip" soil with a clay subsoil - ideal conditions for complex, long-lasting wines. The vines, planted in 2004, are trained using the vertical shoot position system with sparse irrigation in order to achieve particularly concentrated berries. The grapes are harvested exclusively by hand into small crates, followed by cold maceration, spontaneous fermentation and gentle pressing. The wine matures for 12 months in 300-liter French oak barrels (15% of which are new) before being bottled unfiltered.This elegant cuvée harmonizes perfectly with beef carpaccio, braised beef rib or a creamy curry dish. Ideally served at 18-20 °C.Ready to drink now, with potential for a further 10 years of ageing.

The skillful blend of Shiraz, Petit Verdot and Sangiovese combines the best of three great wine regions - Rhône, Bordeaux and Tuscany - to create a seductive wine with a strong character.In the glass, Charisma is deep red with violet reflections. The nose reveals a complex interplay of aromas of dark berries, spicy notes and a hint of Mediterranean herbs. On the palate, the wine is powerful yet elegant, with dense fruit, fine tannins and well-integrated acidity. The wine owes its structure to Shiraz, its depth and intensity to Petit Verdot and its lively freshness to Sangiovese - a composition with personality.The grapes come from optimally oriented sites in Stellenbosch, planted on well-drained soils and strictly reduced yields to ensure the highest quality. Vinification was carried out traditionally: partial whole cluster fermentation, spontaneous fermentation followed by the addition of pure yeast and 15 months maturation in French oak barrels. The result is a harmonious wine with depth, complexity and ageing potential.The Eikendal Charisma is an ideal accompaniment to hearty dishes such as risotto with mushrooms and chorizo, veal dishes or on special occasions with dark chocolate and truffle pralines.
