The Aslina Wines Chardonnay comes from the Aslina Wines estate, which is known for its characterful, handcrafted wines. This Chardonnay is made from 100% carefully hand-picked grapes, with 75% coming from the sun-drenched vineyards of Stellenbosch and 25% from the cooler vineyards of Elgin. The Stellenbosch grapes matured for ten months on the fine lees in stainless steel tanks, while the Elgin grapes were matured in used barrels.A deep, powerful Chardonnay with seductive honey notes appears in the glass. The partial wood ageing gives the wine a refined note and underlines the tropical fruit aromas and fresh, lime-like characteristics. The Aslina Wines Chenin Blanc comes from the innovative Aslina Wines estate, known for its characterful natural wines and creative approach to Chenin Blanc. The grapes were harvested by hand at optimum ripeness and fermented on the skins for a few days before being gently pressed. After fermentation, the wine matured in tanks until it was bottled.In the glass, this white wine has a pleasant yet full-bodied character and seductive aromas of honeybush tea. Aslina Umsasane Red Blend 2022

The Umsasane from Aslina Wines combines the characterful craftsmanship of the boutique winery Aslina Wines with the power and elegance of classic South African red wines. Made from 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Cabernet Franc and 12% Petit Verdot, the grapes were harvested by hand at optimum ripeness. After fermentation in stainless steel tanks, the wine underwent malolactic fermentation in barrels and then matured for 16 months in French oak barrels, 15% of which were new barrels, before being bottled.In the glass, the Umsasane has a deep red, intense color and seduces the nose with complex aromas of black cherries, apricot jam, lavender and fine herbal notes. On the palate, this red wine is elegant and multi-layered, with hints of green bell pepper, vanilla and a harmonious combination of fruit and earth. The supple tannins and balanced structure make it enjoyable now and at the same time open up potential for further ageing.Enjoy Aslina Umsasane at 16-18 °C with hearty red meat dishes such as lamb, beef or game, braised meat or rich stews. Der Saragat Cannonau di Sardegna DOC ist ein Produkt des sardinischen Weinguts Tenuta Atzei, das zur Fantini Gruppe gehört. Fantini steht für außergewöhnliche, aussagekräftige Weine, in denen sich Vergangenheit, Gegenwart und Zukunft vereinen. So wie in diesem weichen, mittelschweren Rotwein, der zu 100% aus der Cannonau Traube, in Frankreich Grenache genannt, besteht. Die Rebsorte ist arm an Taninnen und Farbe und ergibt sehr fruchtbetonte, aromatische Weine.Die Gärung des Rebsafts findet bei kontrollierter Temperatur von 26 bis 29°C statt. Danach erfolgt eine kurze Lagerung in Edelstahltanks. Das Ergebnis ist ein trockener Rotwein, der mit seinen intensiven Aromen von reifen, roten Früchten wie Kirschen und Brombeeren jeden Genießer überzeugt. Hinzu kommen betörende Noten von Veilchen und Trockenblumen. Die Farbe ist rubin rot.

Dieser Crianza vom jungen Weingut Pago de la Jaraba duftet nach frischen Beeren, Eukalyptus und einer feinen Würze. Hinzu kommen die angenehmen Holztöne. Am Gaumen ist dieser Tempranillo weich und elegant. Der rubinrote Wein aus der La Mancha-Region ist ein Blend aus weit überwiegend Tempranillo und kleineren Anteilen Cabernet Sauvignon und Merlot. 10 Monate wurde er in französischer und amerikanischer Eiche ausgebaut, wobei hauptsächlich amerikanische Eiche zum Einsatz kam.

Der Babylonstoren Babel Red Blend ist ein Rotwein aus Südafrika, der mit nahezu 50 % vor allem von der Rebsorte Shiraz (Syrah) geprägt ist. Der hochwertige, in französischem Eichenholz ausgebaute Blend wird von Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot und Pinotage vervollständigt. Das Ergebnis ist ein Rotwein, der im Endergebnis des Jahrgangs 2021 „bewundernswert“ ist. Dieses Urteil stammt von Christine Rudman, die dem Babel Red Blend in John Platter’s Wine Guide 4 von 5 Sternen verleiht. Das intensive, komplexe Bouquet des rubinroten Weins vereint Noten von Kirschen, Brombeeren, Maulbeeren und Pflaumen. Diese Fruchtigkeit harmoniert wunderbar mit Noten von Vanille, dunkler Schokolade sowie tragenden Eichennoten. Rudman erkennt „dunkle Früchte, Tabak und herzhafte Gewürze“.Am Gaumen ist der Babylonstoren Babel Red Blend trocken und meisterhaft ausgewogen. Die Assemblage besitzt einen vollen Körper, angenehm weiche Tannine und eine dichte Struktur. Das Aromenspiel wird geprägt von saftigen, schwarzen Früchten, die wundervoll harmonieren mit Aromen von Tabak und Graphit. „Das Tanninrückgrat gibt Definition und Fokus“, urteilt Rudman.
