This Cabernet Sauvignon - a red wine full of elegance, depth and expressiveness - comes from the innovative winery Aslina Wines, known for its characterful, handcrafted wines. The grapes are harvested by hand at optimum ripeness to preserve their full aromatic richness. After fermentation in stainless steel tanks, the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation in French oak barrels, where it matures for 16 months before being carefully bottled.

It is deep red in the glass and captivates with intense aromas of blackcurrants, plums and black cherries, accompanied by fine oak spice. The name ‘Holden Manz Visionaire’ stands for something special. It represents the attempt to create an expressive wine consisting of 6 different grape varieties - and the winery succeeded! The interaction of the single grape varieties was a real challenge for the winemaker as he had to take the most diverse aspects into consideration. The grapes were selected from various vineyards with different types of soil. The ageing was carried out in 225-litre French oak casks, of which 20% were new and 80% were second- and third-fill barrels. The Lomond Syrah comes from the cool, coastal vineyards of Cape Agulhas, one of South Africa's southernmost wine regions. Due to the fresh sea breezes, the grapes ripen slowly and develop an extraordinary aroma with a perfect balance between fruit, spice and elegance.In the glass, this Syrah is a deep ruby red with violet reflections. The nose is dominated by intense aromas of dark berries such as blackberry and blackcurrant, accompanied by floral notes such as violet and a hint of white pepper, cloves and Mediterranean herbs. An impressive structure unfolds on the palate with velvety tannins, fine spice and well-integrated acidity. The Umsasane from Aslina Wines combines the characterful craftsmanship of the boutique winery Aslina Wines with the power and elegance of classic South African red wines. Made from 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Cabernet Franc and 12% Petit Verdot, the grapes were harvested by hand at optimum ripeness. After fermentation in stainless steel tanks, the wine underwent malolactic fermentation in barrels and then matured for 16 months in French oak barrels, 15% of which were new barrels, before being bottled.In the glass, the Umsasane has a deep red, intense color and seduces the nose with complex aromas of black cherries, apricot jam, lavender and fine herbal notes. On the palate, this red wine is elegant and multi-layered, with hints of green bell pepper, vanilla and a harmonious combination of fruit and earth. Aber, wie Christine Rudman in John Platter’s Wine Guide schreibt, das Beste liegt noch vor uns. 4 von 5 Sternen verleiht Rudman dem im Eichenholz ausgebauten Cabernet.Das Bouquet des pflaumenroten Weins ist einnehmend komplex. Noten von dunklen Beeren (Johannisbeeren) im wunderbaren Zusammenspiel mit Noten von Wildkräutern, Graphit und Zedernholz. Rudman schreibt dem Duftstrauß Noten von „Mokka-Schokolade & Cassis-Düfte“ zu.Am Gaumen ist der Babylonstoren Cabernet Sauvignon trocken, kraftvoll und meisterhaft ausbalanciert. „2020 ist opulent, seine Saftigkeit am Gaumen passt zu den kompakten Tanninen aus 18 Monaten Eichenholz, 40 % neu“, heißt es im Platter. Due to the 18 months of ageing in French oak casks, the wine shows lots of extract and depth. The Professor Black Pitch Black can already be enjoyed now if you give it some time to breathe before you drink it. Creation Estate Syrah Grenache

Dunkelviolett, fast schwarz, fließt der Creation Estate Syrah Grenache ins Glas. Diese Komposition aus 75 Prozent Syrah (Shiraz) und 25 Prozent Grenache duftet verführerisch nach reifen schwarzen Oliven, Tapenade (Olivenpaste aus der südfranzösischen Küche, u.a. mit Oliven, Anchovis und Kapern), reifen Pflaumen und Umami (in etwa: herzhaft, würzig). Am Gaumen ist dieser Rotwein im Rhône-Stil voll und aromatisch tief. Die Tannine sind geschmeidig, dazu kommt eine überraschend frische Säure.
