Der Primitivo di Manduria Riserva Premium Edition aus der Serie Uno des Weingutes Masseria la Volpe ist der Flagship-Wein dieser Linie. Ein erhabener Primitivo von einzigartiger Qualität. Die Trauben werden von Hand geerntet und schon im Weinberg vorselektiert. Das garantiert, dass nur die besten Trauben für die Edition verwendet werden. Die Lese findet bewusst erst Anfang Oktober statt, um eine höhere Geschmacksintensität der Trauben zu gewährleisten. Der Grund dafür ist, dass die Trauben auf natürliche Weise bereits einiges an Flüssigkeit verloren haben und so viel intensiver und konzentrierter sind. Dadurch entsteht nach der Gärung und Reifung auch der hohe Alkoholgehalt. Neben einer 12-monatigen Reifung im Eichenfass, reift der Wein für mindestens weitere 12 Monate auf der Flasche.Im Glas zeigt sich ein dunkles Rubinrot mit einer fast schwarzen Mitte. Der Masseria la Volpe Primitivo di Manduria Riserva Premium Edition duftet Intensiv nach reifen Früchten, wie Pflaumen, dunklen Kirschen und Brombeeren, sowie Pfeffer. Aus der Fassreifung entstehen leicht süßliche Gewürznoten. Der Geschmack ist kräftig und intensiv mit würzigen Anklängen, dazu Lakritze, Tabak und Vanille. Der Wein zeichnet sich durch eine großartige Ausgewogenheit aus, wobei die extrem reichhaltige und reife Frucht perfekt mit Säure und Tanninen harmoniert. Im Abgang unglaublich lange präsent.Der Masseria la Volpe Primitivo di Manduria Riserva Premium Edition passt wunderbar zu Rindfleisch, reifem Käse oder zu einem Abend vor dem Kamin.

This wonderfully intense red wine from Apulia offers majestic notes of blueberries and blackberries, well rounded off by hints of Mediterranean herbs. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and warm, with lovely, sweet nuances. Using the traditional Appassimento method, the grapes ripen beyond the ripeness date and dry on the vines. They shrivel almost to the size of a raisin, thus gaining aromas, acidity and a higher sugar concentration. The exceptionally rich wines produced from these grapes are characterised by an intense bouquet offering notes of dried fruit. These wines are also full-bodied and show a remarkable spice.The Italian wine expert Luca Maroni awarded this wine 97 points (Luca Maroni Award 2018).

Olianas Cannonau di Sardegna DOC 2021

Der Olianas Cannonau di Sardegna DOC aus dem sardinischen Gebiet Anfiteatro gedeiht in einem Tal, das ganztägig der südlichen Sonne ausgesetzt ist. Dadurch werden die Trauben mit viel Frucht, Struktur und Komplexität versorgt. Der immer gleichzeitig vorherrschende Wind sorgt für einen kühlenden Ausgleich. Das Besondere an diesem Wein ist sein biodynamischer Ansatz. Es werden weder Enzyme noch Reinzuchthefen bei der Gärung verwendet. Etwa ein Drittel des Mostes wird in Amphoren bis zu 25 Tage auf den Schalen vergoren. Das erreicht die intensiv dunkelrote Farbe. Die Reifung erfolgte für etwa 8 Monate in französischen Eichenfässern zweiter und dritter Füllung. Um den natürlichen Charakter des Weins zu erhalten wurde bewusst auf eine Klärung verzichtet. In der Nase finden sich Aromen von Waldfrüchten und rauchige Noten. Am Gaumen ist der Olianas Cannonau di Sardegna DOC frisch, rund und sehr lebendig. Die gut eingebundenen Tannine und die angenehme Säure wirken ausgewogen und konzentriert.

Rubinrot mit violettem Schimmer glänzt der Dolcetto D’Alba Magna vom Weingut Paolo Manzone im Glas. Der reinsortige Dolcetto aus dem Piemont wurde von Luca Maroni mit 92 Punkten geadelt. Ein weiterer Beleg der Schaffenskraft von Paolo Manzone. Das Gut liegt etwa 80 Kilometer südlich von Turin.Der italienische Rotwein duftet animierend facettenreich nach Erdbeeren und Kirschen. Die intensive Fruchtigkeit des Bouquets wird darüber hinaus bereichert durch Noten von Lakritz und Veilchen. Am Gaumen ist der Paolo Manzone Dolcetto D’Alba Magna trocken, frisch und weich, mit einer eindrücklichen Aromentiefe. Aromen von roten Früchten, vor allem Erdbeeren, ergeben mit Noten von Schokolade und Kirschkonfitüre ein wunderbares Zusammenspiel, das noch länger nachklingt. Die Trauben für den Rotwein stammen von verschiedenen Lagen mit etwa 30 Jahre alten Rebstöcken rund um die legendäre Stadt Alba im Piemont, berühmt vor allem für weißen Trüffel. Der Dolcetto wurde im Edelstahltank ausgebaut.

Von mehreren Lagen in der norditalienischen Landschaft Langhe in der Region Piemont (zwischen der oberen Poebene bei Turin und den Ligurischen Alpen) stammen die Trauben für den Paolo Manzone Langhe Rosso Luvi. Der italienische Rotwein ist eine Assemblage aus den typisch piemontesischen Rebsorten Barbera, Dolcetto und Nebbiolo. Dass diese Komposition gelungen ist, belegen nicht zuletzt die 90 Punkte von Luca Maroni.Fruchtige Noten von Kirschen, Brombeeren und Pflaumen prägen das Bouquet des Paolo Manzone Langhe Rosso Luvi. Hinzu kommen Noten von Zeder, Veilchen und Lorbeer sowie Nuancen von Schokolade und Kaffee, sodass ein einnehmender, facettenreicher Duftstrauß entsteht.Am Gaumen ist der Rotwein aus dem Piemont trocken und vollmundig, mit runden, angenehm weichen, merklichen Tanninen und präsenten Aromen dunkelroter Früchte (vor allem Pflaumen und Kirschen). Das Finale ist angenehm fruchtbetont.Die Barbara-, Dolcetto- und Nebbiolo-Trauben stammen von Rebstöcken, die im Schnitt 20 Jahre alt sind. Ein Teil des Weins reifte in Tonneaux (große 350-Liter-Eichenfässer), ein Teil im Edelstahl.

Paradiso Posta Piana Negroamaro Puglia IGP 2022

Drei Generationen bodenständiger, traditionsbewusster und innovationsfreudiger Winzer. Dafür steht das italienische Weingut Paradiso, das für seine üppigen roten Weine bekannt ist. Der reinsortige Paradiso Posta Piana Negroamaro IGP Puglia ist einer von ihnen. Seine Negroamaro Trauben wachsen auf Ton und kalksteinhaltigen Böden in der Umgebung von Cerignola in der Region Apulien. Milde Winter und heiße Sommer gehören hier mit zu einem einzigartigen Terroir.In der letzten Septemberwoche ist es dann endlich so weit. Die Trauben für diesen wunderbaren Rotwein werden geerntet. Nach dem Entrappen findet eine zehntägige Mazeration bei einer kontrollierten Temperatur von 25-28°C statt. Dies gilt für einen Teil der Trauben. Der übrige Teil wird bei niedrigeren Temperaturen mazeriert, um den Fruchtgeschmack zu erhöhen. Nach dem Pressen wird der Rotwein getrennt ausgebaut. Für ein Jahr verweilt ein Teil in Barriques und der Rest in Edelstahltanks. Hiermit wird ein besseres Gleichgewicht zwischen Frucht und Würze erreicht. Nach der Abfüllung in Flaschen reift der Paradiso Posta Piana Negroamaro IGP Puglia weitere 2 Monate.Im Glas begeistert der Wein aus Apulien durch seine tiefe rubinrote Farbe. Die Nase ist intensiv mit frischen Kirschfrüchten, Erdbeeren und würzigen Aromen. Am Gaumen ist der Paradiso dicht, weich, ausgewogen und anhaltend.
