Rubinrot mit violettem Schimmer glänzt der Dolcetto D’Alba Magna vom Weingut Paolo Manzone im Glas. Der reinsortige Dolcetto aus dem Piemont wurde von Luca Maroni mit 92 Punkten geadelt. Ein weiterer Beleg der Schaffenskraft von Paolo Manzone. Das Gut liegt etwa 80 Kilometer südlich von Turin.

Der italienische Rotwein duftet animierend facettenreich nach Erdbeeren und Kirschen. Die intensive Fruchtigkeit des Bouquets wird darüber hinaus bereichert durch Noten von Lakritz und Veilchen. Am Gaumen ist der Paolo Manzone Dolcetto D’Alba Magna trocken, frisch und weich, mit einer eindrücklichen Aromentiefe. Aromen von roten Früchten, vor allem Erdbeeren, ergeben mit Noten von Schokolade und Kirschkonfitüre ein wunderbares Zusammenspiel, das noch länger nachklingt. 

Die Trauben für den Rotwein stammen von verschiedenen Lagen mit etwa 30 Jahre alten Rebstöcken rund um die legendäre Stadt Alba im Piemont, berühmt vor allem für weißen Trüffel. Der Dolcetto wurde im Edelstahltank ausgebaut.

Die Trauben für den Batasiolo Dolcetto d’Alba stammen von Hügeln rund um die Stadt Alba, auf der rechten Seite des Flusses Tanaro.
