Paolo Manzone Dolcetto d'Alba Magna DOC

Batasiolo Dolcetto d’Alba DOC

This impressive wine from Piedmont offers intense aromas of cherries, ripe dark fruit and dried fruit on the nose. On the palate, this complex wine is powerful, with great density and noticeable but soft and beautifully integrated tannins. In the traditional Appassimento method, the grapes ripen beyond the full ripening date and dry on the vine. They shrink almost to a raisin and thus gain aromas, sugar and acidity. This results in exceptional wines with fine aromas reminiscent of raisins and a finish that lingers for a long time. Discover the Serre dei Roveri Appassimento Piemonte Barbera DOC with hearty game dishes, roasts or long matured cheese variations, for example.
