Von mehreren Lagen in der norditalienischen Landschaft Langhe in der Region Piemont (zwischen der oberen Poebene bei Turin und den Ligurischen Alpen) stammen die Trauben für den Paolo Manzone Langhe Rosso Luvi. Der italienische Rotwein ist eine Assemblage aus den typisch piemontesischen Rebsorten Barbera, Dolcetto und Nebbiolo. Dass diese Komposition gelungen ist, belegen nicht zuletzt die 90 Punkte von Luca Maroni.

Fruchtige Noten von Kirschen, Brombeeren und Pflaumen prägen das Bouquet des Paolo Manzone Langhe Rosso Luvi. Hinzu kommen Noten von Zeder, Veilchen und Lorbeer sowie Nuancen von Schokolade und Kaffee, sodass ein einnehmender, facettenreicher Duftstrauß entsteht.

Am Gaumen ist der Rotwein aus dem Piemont trocken und vollmundig, mit runden, angenehm weichen, merklichen Tanninen und präsenten Aromen dunkelroter Früchte (vor allem Pflaumen und Kirschen). Das Finale ist angenehm fruchtbetont.

Die Barbara-, Dolcetto- und Nebbiolo-Trauben stammen von Rebstöcken, die im Schnitt 20 Jahre alt sind. Ein Teil des Weins reifte in Tonneaux (große 350-Liter-Eichenfässer), ein Teil im Edelstahl.

Rubinrot mit violettem Schimmer glänzt der Dolcetto D’Alba Magna vom Weingut Paolo Manzone im Glas. Der reinsortige Dolcetto aus dem Piemont wurde von Luca Maroni mit 92 Punkten geadelt. Ein weiterer Beleg der Schaffenskraft von Paolo Manzone. Das Gut liegt etwa 80 Kilometer südlich von Turin.Der italienische Rotwein duftet animierend facettenreich nach Erdbeeren und Kirschen. Die intensive Fruchtigkeit des Bouquets wird darüber hinaus bereichert durch Noten von Lakritz und Veilchen. Am Gaumen ist der Paolo Manzone Dolcetto D’Alba Magna trocken, frisch und weich, mit einer eindrücklichen Aromentiefe. Aromen von roten Früchten, vor allem Erdbeeren, ergeben mit Noten von Schokolade und Kirschkonfitüre ein wunderbares Zusammenspiel, das noch länger nachklingt. Die Trauben für den Rotwein stammen von verschiedenen Lagen mit etwa 30 Jahre alten Rebstöcken rund um die legendäre Stadt Alba im Piemont, berühmt vor allem für weißen Trüffel. Der Dolcetto wurde im Edelstahltank ausgebaut.

It is therefore all the more important to preserve the original character of this grape. The Pr1mo Numero Uno Primitivo Salento does this very well. Deliberately with a little less residual sweetness and very structured on the palate, this dry wine from Italy is full-bodied but at the same time has a smoothness that is second to none. In a long process with the cellar master and owner Gaetano Marangelli from Cantine Menhir, we have brought the typical Apulian native form of a Primitivo into the bottle.The color is an intense dark red and shows all the power of the sun that was able to flow into the grapes of the Pr1mo. The Batasiolo Langhe Nebbiolo combines stimulating fruity notes of raspberries and cherries with nuances of floral tones and a beautiful spiciness in its bouquet. On the palate, this single-varietal Nebbiolo is dry, powerful and harmonious. The depth and variety of aromas are impressive, with notes of cocoa, mint and tobacco creating a great taste experience. The dense, pleasantly integrated tannins, the beautiful freshness and the lingering finish also characterize this red wine from Piedmont.Refined in Slavonian oak barrels, Batasiolo Langhe Nebbiolo shimmers ruby red in the glass. It is another great creation from the Dogliani family, who have been growing wine on their outstanding vineyards, the "Beni di Batasiolo" in Piedmont, since 1978.Enjoy this Nebbiolo at a drinking temperature of 16 to 18 degrees.
