The Raka Spliced is the perfect everyday wine that impresses with its fruity and balanced structure. The cuvée of Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Mourvèdre, Petit Verdot, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Viognier comes from the Klein River Valley wine-growing region in South Africa.The bouquet is characterized by intense berry notes such as cherries, mulberries and blackberries, complemented by a fine olive note. On the palate, the wine has juicy plum fruit, lively cranberry acidity and subtle smoky oak flavors that lend it depth and complexity.The grapes were harvested by hand and carefully sorted in the vineyard and in the cellar. After a second berry selection, the must was fermented with pure yeasts. During the five-day maceration, the juice was pumped over the skins several times a day and punched down by hand to extract the color, tannins and aromas in the best possible way. After fermentation, the wine was separated from the yeasts, underwent malolactic fermentation and then matured for 12 to 14 months in a combination of 225-liter French oak barriques, 25% of which were new barrels.This versatile wine is an excellent accompaniment to grilled vegetables, pasta with tomato sauce, grilled poultry or spicy cheese variations. Enjoy it at a recommended drinking temperature of 16-18 °C.

The RedHeads King of Barossa Shiraz is a powerful red wine from the renowned Barossa Valley in Australia, a region known for its outstanding Shiraz wines. The RedHeads winery began as a small, rebellious winegrowing community that created exceptional wines in small batches - far removed from mass production.In the glass, this Shiraz presents itself in a deep dark red. The bouquet is dominated by intense aromas of dark berries such as blackberries and blackcurrants, complemented by notes of ripe plums, black pepper, eucalyptus and a hint of toast. On the palate, it is full-bodied and rich with soft tannins, accompanied by spicy pepper and meaty notes. The wood maturation gives the wine additional complexity with hints of vanilla and toast.The grapes come from old vines, which ensure low yields but the highest quality. The vineyards are located directly next to those of the famous Torbrecks winery. After careful harvesting, they are gently processed and the wine ferments traditionally in open fermenters. The King of Barossa Shiraz then matures for 18 months in French and American oak barrels, which gives it its fine roasted aromas and velvety texture.A red wine with this intensity calls for powerful food! Perfect with grilled beef, rack of lamb, spicy BBQ dishes or strong, mature cheese. It also unfolds its full potential with braised dishes with a dark sauce.For optimum enjoyment, the RedHeads King of Barossa Shiraz should be served at a temperature of 16-18 °C. The Ridgeback Shiraz is a powerful, elegant red wine from the Paarl wine region of South Africa.In the glass, the Ridgeback Shiraz presents itself in a deep ruby red with violet reflections and unfolds an intense bouquet of dark cherries, complemented by spicy notes of black pepper, cinnamon, licorice and a hint of tobacco leaves.The carefully selected Shiraz grapes are harvested by hand and vinified using traditional methods, followed by ageing in 20% new French and 80% used French oak barrels to give the wine additional depth and complexity. On the palate, the Ridgeback Shiraz is full-bodied and wonderfully spicy with notes of vanilla and suede.
