The Lanzerac Commemorative Pinotage 2021 is a tribute to the long tradition and heritage of South African winemaking. Lanzerac, one of the oldest wine estates in the country, is celebrating the launch of the world's first commercial Pinotage wine with this special vintage, which was launched by this very estate in 1959. The Lanzerac Commemorative Pinotage is a true expression of the uniqueness of this indigenous South African grape variety.In the glass, the wine is a deep ruby red with violet reflections. On the nose, it unfolds a rich spectrum of aromas dominated by ripe red fruits such as cherries and raspberries, accompanied by a fine spiciness, notes of dark chocolate, tobacco and a hint of oak. The aromas are intense and multi-layered, underlining the special character and maturity of this wine. On the palate, the Commemorative Pinotage 2021 is powerful and well-structured, with supple tannins and a harmonious balance between fruit and wood. The fruity notes continue, complemented by nuances of spice, coffee and a hint of vanilla resulting from 16 months of ageing in oak barrels. The finish is long-lasting and elegant, with a slight smoky note that gives the wine additional depth.The Lanzerac Commemorative Pinotage 2021 is an excellent accompaniment to hearty meat dishes such as lamb, beef and game. It is also an ideal accompaniment to mature cheese and rich braised dishes.

The grapes for the Lanzerac Pinotage come from vineyards located at an altitude of between 400 and 420 meters above sea level. The prevailing wind here helps to cool the grapes in hot summers. The soils consist mainly of decomposed granite, which favors the deep growth of the vines and the soil retains water better.Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks with regular pumping over. First, second and third-fill oak barrels were used to mature the Lanzerac Pinotage. Maturation took place over a period of 15 months. At this point, the optimal integration between wood and fruit was complete. The result is an excellent color and a scent of ripe berries and plums. On the palate, the red wine is velvety dense, full-bodied, complex and beautifully balanced. Aromas of high-quality chocolate and notes of caramel delight the palate with wonderfully integrated tannins.Enjoy the Lanzerac Pinotage with venison medallions in plum sauce or an Asian curry dish.

The Lanzerac Pinotage Rosé comes from the Jonkershoek Valley in Stellenbosch. Stellenbosch is probably the best-known wine region in South Africa.After the grapes were pressed, the skins were left in contact with the liquid for around 3 hours. This gives the wine a beautiful, delicate color. The Lanzerac Pinotage Rosé impresses with soft aromatic notes of perfume and rose petals. On the palate, there is plenty of redcurrant and strawberry fruit. This is a soft, dry, slightly perfumed and fruity rosé that is perfect as a terrace wine in the warm summer months.Enjoy this rosé with fresh fruit dishes of all kinds or a prawn, mango and avocado salad or with a refreshing watermelon and feta salad.

Der Bosstok Pinotage von MAN Family Wines ist ein charakterstarker Rotwein aus Südafrika, der die einzigartige Aromatik dieser Rebsorte auf moderne Weise interpretiert. Mit seiner fruchtigen Intensität, feinen Würze und sanften Tanninen ist er ein wunderbarer Vertreter des südafrikanischen Weinbaus.Im Glas zeigt sich der trockene Wein in einem tiefen Rubinrot mit violetten Reflexen. Die Nase wird von dunklen Beeren, Kirschen und Pflaumen geprägt, begleitet von dezenten Röstaromen, Schokolade und feiner Vanille. Am Gaumen präsentiert sich der Pinotage weich, saftig und gut ausbalanciert, mit einer angenehmen Struktur und einem würzig-fruchtigen Nachhall.Die Trauben stammen aus traditionellen Buschweinanlagen (Bosstok), die für niedrige Erträge und hohe Konzentration sorgen. Der Wein The Owl Post Pinotage von Neethlingshof stammt aus dem gleichnamigen Weinberg. Unter anderem in diesem Weinberg wird mit einem integrierten Schädlingsmanagement gearbeitet, was ein Teil des Fokus ist auf das sich das Weingut Neethlingshof konzentriert. Dafür wurden Eulenpfähle im Weinberg platziert umso eine natürliche Schädlingsbekämpfung zu unterstützen und den Einsatz von Pestiziden zu verringern. Die Weinberge wurden 1997 bepflanzt und sind reich an organischem Material. Sie liegen auf einer Höhe von 120 Metern und bestehen vornehmlich aus zersetztem Granit. Der Neethlingshof The Owl Post Pinotage hat eine tiefrote Farbe, eine komplexe Textur mit schwarzen und roten Früchten. Die Tannine sind wunderbar eingebunden und werden von einer feinen Säure unterstützt. Das Bouquet zeigt reife Fruchtaromen, unter anderem Banane. Im Hintergrund stellt sich eine schöne Vanillenote ein. Am Gaumen wiederholen sich Reife und Fruchtintensität. Der The Owl Post Pinotage ist reichhaltig und samtig. Der südafrikanische Wein reifte für 15 Monate in Eichenfässern. Genießen Sie diesen außergewöhnlichen Wein zu gegrilltem rotem Fleisch oder Wild mit scharfen Saucen. Die Farbe des Neethlingshof Pinotage ist rubinrot mit einem zarten Violett an den Rändern. Die Nase zeigt Aromen von Pflaume, Banane, dunklen Johannisbeeren und Zimt. Der Gaumen wird verwöhnt mit einem weichen, runden Körper, der deutlich die vollen Kirscharomen zum Vorschein bringt.Das gute Tanningerüst schafft eine wunderschöne Balance zur Fruchtigkeit. Die Trauben für den Neethlingshof Pinotage stammen von Reben die in nach Südosten ausgerichteten Weinbergen stehen und ca. 20 Jahre alt sind. Der Wein reifte für 9 Monate in 2/3 französischen und 1/3 amerikanischen Fässern. Etwa 40% der Fässer waren neu.Wir empfehlen Ihnen den südafrikanischen Pinotage zu einem Gourmet-Hamburger, Wildcarpaccio oder gereiftem Käse oder dunkler Schokolade.Dieser trockene Rotwein ist vegan.

Due to the increased demand for rosé wines, the decision was made to produce Oude Kaap Rosé. The dry wine from South Africa is made from Pinotage grapes.The wine has a light pink color due to the very brief contact of the juice with the skin of the berries. The rosé is a dry, but not off-dry wine. The fruit, especially strawberry and raspberry, remains in the soft finish.A wonderfully fresh and soft wine that is a great terrace wine in summer. In winter, we recommend the Oude Kaap Rosé as a base wine for making rosé mulled wine.
