MAN Family Wines Bosstok Pinotage

The Bosstok Pinotage from MAN Family Wines is a red wine from South Africa with a strong character that interprets the unique aromas of this grape variety in a modern way. With its fruity intensity, fine spice and soft tannins, it is a wonderful representative of South African viticulture.

In the glass, the dry wine is a deep ruby red with violet reflections. The nose is characterized by dark berries, cherries and plums, accompanied by subtle roasted aromas, chocolate and fine vanilla. On the palate, the Pinotage is soft, juicy and well-balanced, with a pleasant structure and a spicy, fruity finish.

The grapes come from traditional bush vineyards (Bosstok), which ensure low yields and high concentration. After careful harvesting, temperature-controlled fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, followed by maturation in French and American oak barrels for added depth and complexity.

The MAN Family Wines Bosstok Pinotage is an ideal accompaniment to grilled meat, spicy stews or hearty burgers. It also goes perfectly with pizza and pasta with strong sauces.

For optimum enjoyment, we recommend serving this red wine at a temperature of 16-18 °C.

MAN Family Wines

MAN Family Wines Warrelwind Sauvignon Blanc
The harmonious MAN Family Wines Warrelwind Sauvignon Blanc has a pale straw color with green hues. On the nose, rich aromas of tropical fruit with notes of green apple and green pepper. On the palate, the taste of tropical fruits such as passion fruit and pineapple harmonize wonderfully with a crisp acidity.MAN Vintners Sauvignon Blanc is a blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon to give the wine more complexity. 70% of the grapes come from the warmer growing areas of the Agter-Paarl region, 30% from higher altitude areas in Stellenbosch. These vines bring the greener, spicier notes. The harvest took place over a period of three weeks, so that the grapes of different ripeness levels produce a greater depth of flavor.MAN Vintners Sauvignon Blanc goes wonderfully with sushi, fish, Thai cuisine and salads. Or simply enjoy it as an aperitif.About the MAN Vintners winery from the Agter-Paarl region in the Western Cape province of South Africa: José Conde and the brothers Tyrrel and Philip Myburgh began creating wine together in 2001. 30 farmers in the Agter-Paarl region supply the winery with 95% of the grapes. Almost 80% of their vineyards are not irrigated, are rather low-yielding and more than half of them are "bush vines", i.e. vines without wire frame training. A sign that they are old vines.Incidentally, the name MAN Family Wines has a charming history: José Conde and the Myburgh brothers explain that they had to teach their wives that their dream of a winery would also mean sacrificing a lot of time for private matters. "To keep the peace in our families, we took the initials of our wives - so we explained to Marie, Anette and Nicky that we would be busy most weekends. 'It's for you!" M(arie) . A(nice) . Barista Pinotage
A South African taste experience of intense, rich coffee and chocolate aromas with nuances of ripe mulberries, plums and cherries. This dry red wine is also the perfect accompaniment to food. It pairs very well with dark meat, creamy casseroles and even intense desserts. Also a great accompaniment to blue cheese or Belgian chocolate. Vinified ready to drink from the start for immediate enjoyment. We recommend 18 °C as the ideal drinking temperature. The Barista Pinotage from the Val De Vie vineyard is made from 100% Pinotage grapes from the Robertson region. The grapes were picked at optimum ripeness in mid-February and divided into different batches and treated in different ways.Certain batches were treated by short heating to optimize color and then returned to the skins for alcoholic fermentation. Other batches were pasteurized and immediately fermented on oak to achieve the dark, rich coffee flavors. Still other batches were fermented conventionally on the skins and pumped over several times during alcoholic fermentation and racked into French oak to complete fermentation. All batches were stabilized by malolactic fermentation in French oak.
