Die Hacienda Monasterio hat von Anfang an mit Peter Sissek zusammengearbeitet und so Pflanzung und Weinbergsarbeit ökologisch gestaltet. Der Ertrag wird bewusst niedrig gehalten um die angestrebte hohe Qualität an Traubenmaterial zu erhalten. Die Cosecha von Hacienda Monasterio ist ein absolut konzentrierter und mächtiger Rotwein.Der Wein verfügt über eine tiefviolette Farbe. Die Nase präsentiert sich mit einem dichten Duftbogen von Kaffee- und Toastnoten. Eingeschlossen von Fruchtnoten der Kirsche, Pflaume und Waldbeere. Nach einiger Zeit kommen Schokoladennoten und der Duft von Zigarre hinzu. Am Gaumen beginnt der Hacienda Monasterio Cosecha mit enorm viel Schmelz um dann zwischen reifen Fruchtnoten und ausgewogener Säure an der Zunge zu spielen. Feine Gewürznoten werden getragen vom stoffig, kraftvollen Körper. Im Finale zeigen sich Aromen von Lakritz und etwas Zimt.Dieser Rotwein verbrachte über 18 Monate in französischen Barriques, wovon etwa ein Drittel Erstbelegung waren, was unter anderen zur langen Lagerfähigkeit beiträgt.Genießen Sie den Cosecha von Hacienda Monasterio zu Rehrücken oder anderen Wildgerichten.

The Hensel Aufwind Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot Rosé presents itself in a strong garnet red. The wine's color is as intense as its aroma is expressive. The first thing you notice is the scent of strawberries and raspberries, followed by red bell pepper and a hint of vanilla with a light herbal spice. On the palate, the dry rosé wine is complex and powerful, almost reminiscent of a red wine.The Cabernet Sauvignon provides a fine tannin structure and a lush volume. The Merlot brings a beautiful fruity note and harmonizes the Aufwind rosé wonderfully. Hensel Höhenflug Cuvée Rotwein 2020

The Hensel Höhenflug Cuvée Rotwein (red wine) proves that the international grape varieties Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah can also produce excellent wines in Germany.Meticulously selected grapes from the estate’s best vineyards are perfectly matched to create this cuvée. The wine is redolent of allspice and hot black pepper, along with notes of sour cherries and dried foliage.The Höhenflug Cuvée Rotwein (red wine) was aged in heavily toasted wooden casks, giving the wine a fine note of wood enveloped in cassis, elder and blackberries. On the palate, the wine is incredibly multi-layered and complex.Despite its power, the Höhenflug Cuvée is wonderfully balanced. Its finish is characterised by aromas of tobacco and vanilla. After decanting, the wine can already be enjoyed now but several years of ageing in the bottle will further enhance its qualities. The red wine is extremely powerful.It goes beautifully with pasta or lasagne with hearty meat sauces and is an ideal accompaniment to barbecue, steaks and game dishes. It is also lovely to enjoy with a piece of good Morbier cheese.

Hensel Höhenflug Merlot 2020

The Merlot grape is one of the most popular grape varieties ever and is cultivated almost all over the world. It is, however, very difficult to make a top-quality wine from these grapes. With its Höhenflug Merlot, the Hensel winery succeeded in this. The grapes for this wine are harvested as late as possible to capture the last rays of sunshine of the year, resulting in a very concentrated wine that is an intense cherry-red in colour. The wine has a wonderful bouquet offering fragrances of ripe morello cherries and bilberries, complemented by nuances of elder and slightly smoky notes. On the palate, the Hensel Höhenflug Merlot shows lots of melt and an exotic spice. This Merlot was aged in new barriques, giving the wine noticeable but soft tannins, richness and powerful body. This is a red wine from the Palatinate to fall in love with.Try the Hensel Höhenflug Merlot with duck breast or fried chicken. It is also an ideal accompaniment to various cheeses.

Holden Manz Big G 2020

The ruby-red Holden Manz Big G is a tribute to the owner of the winery Gerard Holden, a strong, powerful and energetic man - like the wine, a full-flavoured and full-bodied Bordeaux blend. The wine, consisting of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot, is well-balanced, very well-structured and powerful. The grapes were picked by hand and only the best grapes from selected plots in the different vineyards were taken to create the Holden Manz Big G. The wine underwent a malolactic fermentation in French casks, of which 30% were new and 70% were used barrels. Subsequently, the wine was aged for another 24 months in wooden casks. The Holden Manz Big G offers aromas of black cherries, red plums, mint, bilberries and cedar in its bouquet, along with hints of pine and subtle herbal nuances. On the palate, it shows noticeable but soft tannins that unite with creamy notes of cassis. The prolonged finish is characterised by a splendid fullness of dark fruit. The Holden Manz Big G is an excellent accompaniment to dried meat or Beef Wellington.

Holden Manz Vernissage 2021

The Holden Manz Vernissage is a cuvée consisting of Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz and Merlot. The Cabernet Sauvignon grape variety gives the wine a lovely structure and particularly elegant tannins. Shiraz and Merlot provide notes of spices and fruit aromas, which are mainly characterised by nuances of dark cherries and plums. The wine is a light ruby-red, developing into a clear red towards the rim in the glass. The Holden Manz Vernissage has a balanced acidity and shows vivid aromas of cassis, tobacco and spice, giving the wine a very good balance. Its finish is soft and long-lasting. Winemaker Thierry Haberer selected the grapes from various vineyards with different types of soil. The grapes were harvested when fully ripe, thus giving the wine a wonderful complexity. After the careful blending of the single batches and grape varieties and the numerous tastings involved, Thierry finally created this expressive, balanced and very fruity Holden Manz Vernissage. The wine matured for 18 months in 225-litre French oak casks. Enjoy the wine with lamb stews with garlic sauce or grilled polenta.

Holden Manz Visionaire 2019

The name ‘Holden Manz Visionaire’ stands for something special. It represents the attempt to create an expressive wine consisting of 6 different grape varieties - and the winery succeeded! The interaction of the single grape varieties was a real challenge for the winemaker as he had to take the most diverse aspects into consideration. The grapes were selected from various vineyards with different types of soil. The ageing was carried out in 225-litre French oak casks, of which 20% were new and 80% were second- and third-fill barrels. The wines were aged for 24 months before they were blended and bottled, resulting in a wine of extreme complexity that shows a perfect balance between residual sugar and acidity. On the nose, it pampers your senses with a variety of aromas such as notes of mulberries and currants as well as fine nuances of white pepper and violets. The Holden Manz Visionaire is elegant and smooth on the palate, with a medium body. The palate is predominantly characterised by notes of red and black fruit and an exceptional minerality, wonderfully rounded off by skilfully integrated, strong tannins. Enjoy this wonderfully complex Holden Manz Visionaire with an air-dried fillet steak or lamb chops, for example.

Der Il Poggione Rosso di Toscana IGT ist ein klassischer Rotwein aus der Toskana, rund im Geschmack und sehr aromatisch. Trinken Sie den Wein zu gegrillten Fleischspezialitäten, milden Käsesorten oder Nudelgerichten.Ursprung des klassischen Rotweins Il Poggione Rosso di Toscana IGT ist das neue Weingut Tenuata Il Poggione, auf einem Hügel in Montalcino gelegen. Laut Hugh Johnsen ist es „das vielleicht beständigste Weingut für Brunello und Rosso di Montalcino“. Der Wein besteht aus der Rebsorte Sangiovese, Merlot und Cabernet Sauvignon. Durch diese Mischung überzeugt der Wein aus Italien als echter Allrounder mit angenehm weichem Geschmack.
