Il Messo Governo Rosso Toscana, from the Tuscany region of Italy, is produced using the traditional Tuscan “Governo All’uso” method, which dates back to the 14th century. In this ancient technique, partially dried grapes - in this case, Merlot and Sangiovese - are added to the must after fermentation. This triggers a second fermentation, which gives this dry red wine from the Barbanera winery more body, depth, and fruitiness.

Il Messo Governo Rosso Toscana offers aromas of ripe cherries, cloves, and wild berries. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, complex, and highly aromatic. An unmistakable, juicy wine with a seemingly endless finish.
