Der l'Hospitalet de Gazin Pomerol stammt vom berühmten Château Gazin, einem Nachbarn von Pétrus aus der Appellation Pomerol, am rechten Ufer von Bordeaux. 2020 war auch hier ein besonders guter Jahrgang, der Weine von wunderbarer Harmonie und Cremigkeit hervorbrachte.Der l'Hospitalet de Gazin Pomerol 2020 ist eine Assemblage von 92% Merlot und 8% Cabernet Sauvignon. Seine Trauben wurden handgelesen und der Wein reifte für 18 Monate im Eichenfass.Uns gefällt besonders am l'Hospitalet, dass dieser Wein ein hohes Lagerpotential hat, allerdings auch in seiner Jugend, nach mindestens einer Stunde Dekantieren, schon viel Trinkspaß bereiten kann.Der l'Hospitalet de Gazin 2020 ist von einer großen Ausgewogenheit und Harmonie. Er zeigt vielschichtige Aromen, darunter Pflaumen, Tabak, viel Brombeere, Schwarze Johannisbeere, etwas Leder und Schokolade; die Tannine sind vorhanden, aber bereits jetzt schon von ausgezeichnetem Schmelz.
