Die Weinregion heißt Ceres und die Trauben für den Op Die Berg Chardonnay stammen vom Witzenberg, der auf einer Höhe von 960 Metern über dem Meeresspiegel liegt. Die Region hat ein kontinentales Klima mit kühlen Nachttemperaturen und heißeren Tagestemperaturen während der Vegetationsperiode, das zu einer langsameren Reifung und mehr konzentrierter Frucht beiträgt. Der De Grendel Op Die Berg Chardonnay hat eine zitronenblasse Farbe mit klarer heller Durchsicht. In der Nase finden sich exotische Fruchtnoten, Gewürzaromen und eine leichte Vanillenote aus der 5-monatigen Reifung in französischen Barriquefässern. Am Gaumen wunderbar elegant und dezent, aber kraftvoll. Der Geschmack wird geprägt von konzentrierten Aromen von Kokosnuss, Ingwer und Marmelade von leichter Süße. Am Gaumen zeigen sich Aromen von roten Früchten und Gewürzen. Der De Grendel Shiraz ist ein zarter, aber konzentrierter Rotwein von hervorragender Struktur. Hardly any other landscape in France is as fascinating as the wine-growing region around the Loire, which is renowned for outstanding wines. The De Ladoucette Pouilly Fume AOC,  is one of these wines, created by Baron de Ladoucette. His winery, the famous Château du Nozet, owned by the family since 1787, is the largest estate in Pouilly-sur-Loire and has been run successfully by the Baron since 1972.The soils on the Loire are characterised by lime, quartz and flint, which made the Sauvignon Blanc from Pouilly-Fumé world-famous. The French word ‘fumé’ (i.e. smoked) has a geological background. The flint in the wine-growing region gives the wine its smoky and mineral notes. In addition, the wine is characterised by aromas of tropical fruit, passion fruit, lemon and apple. On the palate, the Pouilly Fumé shows an invigorating acidity and a full body. Its long finish leaves a lasting impression.For optimal enjoyment, we recommend serving this white wine at a drinking temperature of 10-12 °C (50.0-53.6 °F). It is an ideal accompaniment to traditional Loire cuisine. It also goes beautifully with fish and poultry and is lovely to enjoy on its own as well.

If you want to taste one of the absolute top wines from South Africa, De Toren Fusion V is a must. The V stands for the 5 Bordeaux grape varieties used in the wine. The quality is on a par with the great wines from Bordeaux.After hand-picking and selecting the grapes, a long, gentle fermentation followed. Maturation took place over a period of 12 months in 50% new and 50% second-fill barrels. Barrels of 225 liters were used. (90% French and 10% American) In the glass a clear violet with a slight sparkle. The nose is characterized by blueberry, cedar, black cherry, dark chocolate and a hint of fennel.
