This French white wine effortlessly meets the highest standards of enjoyment: the De Ladoucette Comte Lafond Sancerre Blanc fascinates with its impressively multi-faceted bouquet. It combines notes of peach, citrus fruit and elderberry with animating honey tones and fine floral nuances.

On the palate, this white Sancerre from the Loire region in the heart of France is dry, full-bodied and intensely aromatic, with a lively acidity. Exotic mango and lychee aromas, as well as beautiful hints of almond and pear characterize the taste experience. The De Ladoucette Comte Lafond Sancerre Blanc has a noticeable minerality that dominates the finish and is rounded off by aromas of ripe lemon.

The pure Sauvignon Blanc shimmers pale gold in the glass. It comes from vines that are between 25 and 35 years old and grow on soils characterized by clay and limestone. The white wine is deliberately not aged in wood in order to preserve its fruity, aromatic intensity.

Enjoy this elegant, slender Sancerre at a drinking temperature of 8 to 10 degrees. The De Ladoucette Comte Lafond Sancerre Blanc is an ideal accompaniment to seafood, grilled white fish or poultry. Also a very good choice with goat's cheese.

Hardly any other landscape in France is as fascinating as the wine-growing region around the Loire, which is renowned for outstanding wines. The De Ladoucette Pouilly Fume AOC,  is one of these wines, created by Baron de Ladoucette. His winery, the famous Château du Nozet, owned by the family since 1787, is the largest estate in Pouilly-sur-Loire and has been run successfully by the Baron since 1972.The soils on the Loire are characterised by lime, quartz and flint, which made the Sauvignon Blanc from Pouilly-Fumé world-famous. The French word ‘fumé’ (i.e. smoked) has a geological background. The flint in the wine-growing region gives the wine its smoky and mineral notes. In addition, the wine is characterised by aromas of tropical fruit, passion fruit, lemon and apple. On the palate, the Pouilly Fumé shows an invigorating acidity and a full body. Its long finish leaves a lasting impression.For optimal enjoyment, we recommend serving this white wine at a drinking temperature of 10-12 °C (50.0-53.6 °F). It is an ideal accompaniment to traditional Loire cuisine. It also goes beautifully with fish and poultry and is lovely to enjoy on its own as well.

You will find the Pascal Jolivet winery in the beautiful French town of Sancerre. Sancerre is an AOC-certified wine-growing region located around the eponymous village of Sancerre on the Loire, opposite Pouilly-Fumé. Only the Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir varieties are cultivated in this region, as all other varieties are not allowed to be traded as AOC classified.The Sauvignon grapes used to make the dry white wine were vinified individually from three different terroirs. The terroirs differ in their soil types. These are chalky-chalky, clayey-chalky or consist of limestone and flint and give the Sauvignon Blanc grape its specific characteristics. The Sancerre Blanc matures for several months.In the glass, the white wine is bright and shiny golden yellow. Beautiful aromas of citrus fruit unfold on the nose. Pascal Jolivet steht für eindrucksvolle  Loire Weine, die viel Genuss versprechen. Dazu gehört der Pascal Jolivet Pouilly Fumé AOC. Der trockene Weißwein besteht zu 100% aus Sauvignon Blanc, der auf Feuersteinböden wächst, die die charakteristische rauchige Note in den Wein bringen.Die Trauben wurden nach der Ernte von Hand sortiert. Nach der Pressung wurde der Rebsaft auf seinen natürlichen Hefen 33 Tage lang bei 16° vergoren. Bevor der Wein in Flaschen abgefüllt wurde, reifte dieser noch zwei Monate in Edelstahltanks.Der hell glänzende goldgelbe Pouilly Fumé (fumé = geräuchert) ist am Gaumen vollmundig und konzentriert mit Zitrusfrüchten und wunderschöner Mineraltität.
