Anthonij Rupert Optima 2021

From the flagship range of Anthonij Rupert from Franschhoek in South Africa, we present the Optima. A cuvée made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Malbec. It is therefore a so-called Bordeaux blend.A dark purple color in the glass already gives an idea of the complexity of this red wine. The nose is seductive and dense. The Anthonij Rupert Optima has a wonderful aroma of pepper and dark fruit. The palate is wonderfully elegant and smooth, with notes of blueberry, cassis, cedar wood, violets, cocoa and cigar box. Anthonij Rupert Protea Cabernet Sauvignon 2023

The Protea Cabernet Sauvignon from the Anthonij Rupert Wines estate is a shining example of the quality of South African viticulture and offers fair value for money. The grapes for this wine come from the Groenekloof region located in the wine-growing region of Darling, where the days are warm and the nights are cool, so that there is a significant temperature difference.This, in combination with the dark red soils consisting of decomposed granite, gives the wine its unique mix of dark and red fruit aromas. The wine is wonderfully concentrated and soft, with a juicy tannin structure. The Protea Cabernet Sauvignon is round, soft, light and well-balanced on the palate, offering clearly noticeable, fruity aromas of plums, dark berries and cherries, along with fine notes of spices. Der Anthonij Rupert Protea Merlot repräsentiert einen Rotwein aus Südafrika, sorgsam produziert von der angesehenen Weinkellerei Anthonij Rupert. Mit einem charakteristischen Aromenspektrum präsentiert der Protea Merlot reiche Noten eines verführerischen Beerenkompotts mit würzigen Akzenten in der Nase. Am Gaumen setzen sich die Noten von roten Früchten wie Kirsche, Pflaume, Maulbeere und Brombeere fort. Begleitet werden diese fruchtigen Nuancen von subtilen Gewürz- und Vanillearomen, die dem Wein zusätzliche Tiefe verleihen und aus der 12-monatigen Holzreifung stammen. The grapes for the Anthonij Rupert Protea Shiraz come from vineyards in the Darling region. A region in South Africa with predominantly sandy, clay and loamy soils. Soils on which the Shiraz grape thrives particularly well.The red wine has an intense dark red color. It smells wonderfully of ripe plums, black cherries, spices and dark earth. Complemented by a delicate smoky note, these aromas also continue on the palate. The taste of Protea Shiraz is reminiscent of blueberries, plums, cloves, aniseed and a subtle hint of fire. The soft, juicy tannins give the wine good concentration and length. The structure is soft and accessible.The Protea Shiraz is also an excellent accompaniment to food. Anthonij Rupert Syrah 2017

The Anthonij Rupert Syrah comes from strictly selected vines from the Franschhoek Valley in South Africa. A pre-selection is made as early as the hand-picking stage. Only the best grapes find their way into the wine. Both the fermentation and the subsequent maturation, which lasts an average of 21 months, take place in French oak barrels. The Anthonij Rupert Syrah was then bottled unfiltered and matured for a further 2 years. The red wine has a wonderful aroma of violets, plums, raspberries and vanilla. On the palate, the wine is amazingly complex but extremely multi-faceted. Beautiful fruity notes are in harmony with spicy notes and a gently integrated tannin structure. The finish is also juicy, balanced and convincingly long.For a long evening in front of the fireplace or as an accompaniment to a festive meal, you will hardly find anything better. Open the wine at least two hours before drinking and give it some time to develop in the glass.

In dieser wunderschönen Gegend finden Sie das Weingut Antiche Terre, Hersteller des besonderen Antiche Terre Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG.Was macht diesen Amarone della Valpolicella so besonders, werden Sie sich fragen.Corvina Veronese, Corvinone und Rondinella Trauben werden nach der handverlesenen Ernte 3 - 4 Monate eingetrocknet, bevor die Vinifizierung stattfindet. Durch die Trocknung der Trauben werden der Zuckergehalt und der Extrakt des Weines und somit der Alkoholgehalt erhöht. Diese Methode nennt man Appassimento. Das Resultat ist ein kräftiger trockener Rotwein mit leichter Restsüße.

Der Antiche Terre Valpolicella DOC Superiore ist eine Rotwein Cuvée, die aus den für Venetien typischen Rebsorten Corvina Veronese, Corvinone und Rondinella gekeltert wird. Ein Superiore, der sich dunkel und rubinrot im Glas präsentiert und den sommerlichen Geruch und Geschmack von Kirschen herausstechen lässt. Haben Sie sich schonmal gefragt, was Superiore bedeutet ? Superiore ist ein Wein, der in Qualität und Anforderungen über dem normalen Standard liegt.Das Weingut Antiche Terre brachte mit diesem Valpolicella einen leichten angenehmen Wein auf den Markt. Die Trauben werden von Hand geerntet. Nach der Gärung folgt die Reifung in Eichenfässern und später in der Flasche. Zu den fruchtigen Aromen von Kirsche gesellen sich andere roten Früchte und ein Hauch von Gewürzen. Am Gaumen ist der Wein weich mit abgerundeten Tanninen. Im Finale überzeugt der Antiche Terre Valpolicella DOC Superiore mit einem leicht würzigen Abgang.

Antiche Terre Valpolicella Ripasso DOC Superiore 2021

Können, Leidenschaft und Arbeit lassen auf dem Weingut Antiche Terre den Antiche Terre Valpolicella Ripasso DOC Superiore entstehen. Umgeben von Terrassen voller Weinberge am Rande von Valpolicella hat der bekannte Rotwein seinen Ursprung. Corvina Veronese, Corvinone und Rondinelle Trauben werden nach Tradition vollständig von Hand geerntet, um die Pflanzen so wenig wie möglich zu belasten und die Qualität der Trauben intakt zu halten.Nach einer sorgfältigen Pressung der Trauben und 10 tägiger Gärung bei 25°C wird der Wein gefiltert und in Edelstahltanks gelagert. Es folgt eine für den Ripasso typische zweite Gärung auf dem Trester des Amarone. Diese dauert 4-5 Tage. Danach wird der Wein für 12 Monate auf französischer Eiche ausgebaut.Im Glas leuchtet dieser komplexe Rotwein in einer tiefen rubinroten Farbe. In der Nase zeigen sich fruchtige Noten von Kirschen, Schokolade und frischen Kräutern. Ein vollends strukturierter Wein mit einem vollen und weichen Geschmack und einer perfekten Balance zwischen Tanninen und Säuren.
