The Anthonij Rupert Protea Merlot represents a red wine from South Africa, carefully produced by the prestigious Anthonij Rupert winery. With a characteristic aroma spectrum, the Protea Merlot presents rich notes of a seductive berry compote with spicy accents on the nose. The notes of red fruits such as cherry, plum, mulberry and blackberry continue on the palate. These fruity nuances are accompanied by subtle spice and vanilla aromas, which give the wine additional depth and come from the 12 months of wood maturation. The texture of this Merlot is soft and supple, accompanied by gentle tannins.

The wine is accessible, lush and wonderfully round. The aromas linger in a long, rewarding finish.

The Protea Merlot harmonizes well with a variety of dishes, from pasta to poultry and mild cheeses. A true all-rounder. The only thing that "helps" is to try it!

The Protea Cabernet Sauvignon from Anthonij Rupert Wines is an excellent example of South African wine quality at a fair price. The grapes come from the Groenekloof region in the Darling wine-growing area. Here the days are warm and the nights cool, so there is a big difference in temperature. This fact and the deep red soil with decomposed granite give the wine a unique blend of dark and red fruit aromas. The red wine is wonderfully concentrated, soft with a juicy tannin structure.On the palate, the Anthonij Rupert Protea Cabernet Sauvignon is round, soft, light and well-balanced. Fruit aromas of plum, dark berries and cherries are clearly perceptible, complemented by a delicate spicy note. The fruit notes combine wonderfully with the oak notes and end in a long, harmonious finish.Wonderful to drink solo at the end of the day. Die Trauben für den Protea Chardonnay vom Weingut Anthonij Rupert stammen aus verschiedenen Weingärten in Franschhoek und Robertson. Die einzelnen Partien wurden separat vergoren und zum Teil in französischer Eiche ausgebaut, um dem Wein eine höhere Komplexität und Struktur zu geben. Am Ende wurden alle Partien gemischt und abgefüllt. Noten der Blutorange konkurrieren mit Aromen von Grapefruit und Zitrone in der Nase. Auch am Gaumen findet sich beim Protea Chardonnay die Spritzigkeit von Zitrusfrüchten wieder. Die Saftigkeit einer Blutorange und von Pampelmuse ist im Mund deutlich wahrzunehmen. Eine frische Textur macht den Weißwein herrlich saftig und ausgereift. Passend zu allen kräftigen Salaten oder genießen Sie den Protea Chardonnay zur thailändischen Küche.

Afterwards, they remained in contact with the yeast for some time in order to develop the aroma to the fullest. The Anthonij Rupert Protea Rosé is a pale pink to red in the glass.
