The Telmo Rodriguez Dehesa Gago DO is a single-varietal Tinta de Toro - a local variant of the Tempranillo grape variety - and an authentic expression of the terroir of the Toro region. Eight winegrowing families cultivate their old bush vines in a low planting density and the grapes are traditionally harvested by hand. Spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts and six months of ageing in stainless steel tanks preserve the pure fruit and freshness of the wine, which is deliberately not aged in wood.The nose reveals an enticing bouquet of fresh cherries, blackberries and fine chocolate notes, complemented by a pleasant spiciness. On the palate, this red wine impresses with its juicy fruit, good structure, harmonious acidity and soft texture. The red wine from central Italy smells wonderfully complex of plums and cherries, which create a harmonious interplay with notes of tobacco and vanilla. There is also a subtle spice. On the palate, the wine made from Montepulciano grapes is dry, full-bodied and soft. Der Tenuta Antonini P.121 Montepulciano d'Abruzzo ist ein trockener Rotwein aus der Region Abruzzen in Italien. Er wird von der Tenuta Antonini Winery hergestellt, die für ihre hochwertigen Weine bekannt ist. Die Montepulciano-Trauben für den eleganten Montepulciano d'Abruzzo werden ausschließlich von Hand gepflückt und anschließend selektiert. Im Glas zeigt der P.121 eine rubinrote Farbe mit leichten violetten Reflexen, die mit der Alterung in Richtung Granatrot tendieren. Tenuta di Nozzole Chianti Classico DOCG 2019

Chianti denotes Italian red wine from Tuscany, which was once traditionally sold in bottles encased in woven straw baskets known as “fiaschi.” Today, the Chianti Classico DOCG is one of the two most important red wines produced in Italy and its excellent quality has eclipsed the straw-covered bottle of yesteryear. The Tenuta di Nozzole estate vinifies the famous red wine from 100% Sangiovese grapes. The Tenuta di Nozzole Chianti Classico DOCG is macerated for 15 days in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 28°C. The wine is regularly pumped over during the period. The Chianti is aged for 10-12 months in toasted 225-liter French oak barrels and, after bottling, aged in the bottle for another three months.The result is an excellent wine that has a surprising sweet, soft fruitiness, complemented by notes of spice that caress the palate.We recommend drinking the Chianti at a temperature of 16-18°C with roasted and braised red meats or as a dessert accompaniment to aged hard cheeses.Gambero Rosso awards three glasses to this dry red wine from 2019 and rates it as one of the best wines from Tuscany.

Tenuta Roveglia Ca d'Oro Cabernet Sauvignon DOC 2018

Die Trauben für den Tenuta Roveglia Ca d'Oro Cabernet Sauvignon DOC reifen 50 Meter über dem Meeresspiegel am südlichen Ufer des Gardasees. Sie werden von Hand gelesen und nach einer 6-7 monatigen Gärung in Edelstahl für 24 Monate in Barriquefässern ausgebaut. Nach der Abfüllung in Flaschen ruht der Wein für weitere 12 Monate. In dem samtigen Bouquet des reinsortigen Cabernet Sauvignons überwiegen Aromen von Pflaumen und schwarzen Johannisbeeren mit Nuancen von Kräutern. Am Gaumen ist der Rotwein üppig mit milder Säure.

The Tenuta Sant Antonio winery is located northeast of Verona and surrounded by its own vineyards. With the wines of the Scaia line, the Castagnedi brothers fulfilled their dream of creating wines that better meet the requirements of young winemakers.The Tenuta Sant Antonio Scaia Paradiso is a cuvée consisting of the Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella and Cabernet Sauvignon grape varieties. The Cabernet Sauvignon grapes are dried for 20 days before they are pressed. After the gentle pressing of all the grapes, the wine is aged for 20 days with selected biological yeasts in temperature-controlled, stainless-steel tanks. Afterwards, the wine matures for one year in 500-litre French oak casks.The bouquet of this ruby-red wine recalls Maraska cherries, wild berries and candied fruit. The bouquet is complemented by spicy notes of black pepper, liquorice, cocoa and tobacco. On the palate, the Scaia Paradiso is a genuine charmer - soft, warm, velvety.The fruity, spicy red wine is a perfect accompaniment to pasta dishes with truffles, meat ragout, grilled red meat and ripe cheeses.

The 100% Lagrein from the Alto Adige winery Cantina Terlan has a strong ruby to garnet color with violet hues. On the nose, earthy and mineral notes that harmonize beautifully with fruity flavors.
