Garmon Continental is the third project of the Garcia family, which owns Bodegas Mauro, one of the best-known and most innovative Spanish wineries of the 20th century. The winery's only wine is Garmon, a single-varietal Tempranillo. This red wine comes from vines in the Ribera del Duero region that are between 30 and 100 years old. On average, these vines are 900 meters above sea level, which gives the wine a natural freshness, strength and depth. After 20 months of ageing in French oak barrels, the wine is bottled. In the glass, it shines a bright purple. The Garmon has a wonderfully fresh aroma of blueberries, cherries and exotic spices. On the palate, this Tempranillo is wonderfully concentrated and complex. A full, lively wine in perfect maturity and with velvety, enclosed tannins. Fine notes of smoke and vanilla combined with earthy notes flow into a powerful, mineral finish.

Barón de Ley Reserva Is made from grapes coming from our own vineyards in Mendavia (Rioja Baja). The climate in this part of Rioja, with clear Mediterranean influence, provides excellent maturations which, combined with a low yield viticulture (5.000 kgrs/Ha. aproximately), result in modern Riojas with a “mediterranean soul”; wines with combine remarkable power with the elegance and harmony that have always been characteristic of the Rioja wines. The wine was aged for 20 months in new american oak casks, and afterwards 24 months in bottle until arriving to its ideal moment for enjoyment. This wine has not been submitted to filterings or artificial stabilizations, which might result in the appearance of natural sediments in the bottle.With an attractive red ruby coulour with medium-high intensity, in the nose it suprises for a powerful fruit remarkably blended with traces from its noble ageing: coconut and toffee, evolving into seductive nuances of spices and mediterranean bush. The attack is truly powerful and develops in the mouth a pleasant sensation of volume and onctuosity with drives us to a long finish, nervous and fresh due to its optimum acidity, and bringing back an aftertaste with red fruits and again mediterranean bushes.

The Muros Antigos Escolha, DOC Vinho Verde from the north-west of Portugal is a cuvée made from the Alvarinho, Loureiro and Avesso grape varieties. San Vicente Rioja DOCa - Elegant Tempranillo red wine with depth and structureSince 1991, oenologist Marcos Eguren, scion of a long-established winegrowing family in Rioja, has been producing this grape juice, which is limited to around 60,000 bottles a year. His San Vincente is the modern version of a premium Rioja that combines the best of all Spanish wine worlds. How is this to be understood? The San Vincente preserves the traditions and classic virtues of a Rioja by being aged for 20 months in wooden barrels (90% French and 10% American oak) and then bottled unfiltered. The wine is therefore guaranteed to keep for a long time. However, Marcos Eguren goes far beyond this in his approach to creating a modern and qualitatively outstanding wine; he focuses on a more fruit-driven style than is usual in Rioja.Not just any vines are used, but the noble variety of Tempranillo, namely Tempranillo Peludo, from the company's own 18-hectare Finca la Canoca vineyard, which is located on the best clay and limestone terroir. The grapes are hand-selected twice to ensure that only the best grapes make it into the wine.It is also striking that the wine is vinified with such precision and high quality that vintage fluctuations are hardly noticeable.
