Danach wird der Wein noch bis zu 3 Monate in der Flasche ausgebaut.Trotz seiner Jugend zeigt diese Spezialität aus den Abruzzen eine undurchdringliche, sehr dunkle Farbe im Glas. Diese harmoniert mit dem reifen Duft nach Pflaumen, Kirschen und Lakritz, der typisch für diese Rebsorte ist.
