The classic Zweigelt exhibits just what this variety can achieve: fully ripe, cherry fruit, a compact body and plenty of power. Every vine is restricted to a minimum amount of fruit to ensure optimal ripening in the sun.

Brilliant ruby red in the colour, a clear fruit and power in the nose. Full cherry with decent smoky tones and on the palate full and juicy. The crisp body of tannin produces a soft spicy flavour. A wonderful Zweigelt, which shows a strong body and great fruit.

It is an ideal companion to Steak, as well as to pasta and pizza.

The Pfaffl Vom Haus Zweigelt has a nose redolent of ripe cherries. On the palate, the red wine from Lower Austria is full and juicy, with spicy nuances and soft tannins. Made from Austria’s most important red wine grape variety, 30% of this red wine was aged in used barriques and 70% in stainless steel tanks.
