Im windgeschützten Kessel von Spitz in Österreich, der Heimat des Weinguts Gritsch, befindet sich die Lage Axpoint. Aufgebaut aus Verwitterungsgestein mit etwas Lehm, Sand, Schwarzerde und einer Lössauflage ist diese Lage besonders geeignet für den grünen Veltliner. Die Trauben werden dadurch sehr saftig und reichhaltig.Nach der Handernte werden die Früchte schonend gepresst und verarbeitet. Danach findet im Stahltank die temperaturkontrollierte Gärung statt. Der Rebsaft unterliegt dem weiteren Ausbau auf der Feinhefe.Klar und ausgewogen zeigt sich der herrliche Weißwein. This cuvée consists of Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc and Pinot Gris. It is a fine, shimmering gold in the glass.
