Saint Clair Omaka Reserve Chardonnay 2024

With its pale golden color and intense and complex aromas of white peach and honeysuckle, the Saint Clair Omaka Reserve Chardonnay impresses. There are also hints of savory bacon and rounding oak notes.Taste: A wonderfully full-bodied and rich white wine with complex stone fruit aromas and a hint of spice. Underlying savory oak notes and subtle yeasty characters add to the complexity. Stellenzicht Acheulean Chardonnay 2021

Der Boden auf dem die Reben für den Stellenzicht Acheulean Chardonnay stehen, stellt das Besondere bei diesem Weißwein da. Der Name Acheulean beschreibt die Zeit aus dem die Böden stammen, nämlich der Altsteinzeit. Nur eine kleine Parzelle mit Chardonnay Reben ist davon auf dem Weingut vorhanden und deshalb werden gerade mal 400 bis 500 Flaschen von diesem Wein pro Jahr hergestellt. Bei der Produktion wird ein Teil der Trauben nach dem Verpressen in Amphoren-Tongefäßen und der Rest in 500 Liter Holzfässern vergoren. Durch den Einsatz der Amphoren-Tongefäße erhält der Acheulean Chardonnay von Stellenzicht eine pikante Mineralität und eine feine Säurestruktur. Mit einem hellen strohgelb im Glas zeigt sich der Stellenzicht Acheulean Chardonnay dezent in der Nase mit einem Hauch von Aprikose, frischem Steinobst, gelbem Pfirsich und Zitrusfrüchten. Am Gaumen ist er herrlich elegant und trocken. Eine zarte Eichennote umarmt eine verspielte Aromatik. Zart und doch intensiv, wunderbar ausgewogen, mit einem anhaltenden, parfümierten Abgang von Limette.Probieren Sie diesen stark limitierten Wein zu Leberpastete, Schalentieren oder anderen intensiv schmeckenden Fischgerichten.
