This Penfolds Bin 28 Shiraz is a deep brick-red in colour. Initially, the wine offers sumptuous, warm and spicy Shiraz aromas such as cloves, cinnamon, coriander, juicy plums and cherries. Later, it shows notes of liquorice and fine nuances of vanilla.This wine is medium-bodied and rich in taste, showing juicy aromas of plums, cherries and berries, which mingle with notes of dark chocolate, mocha and spices.The wine matured for 12 months in repeatedly used American oak casks.The Penfolds Bin 28 is a prime example of Australian Shiraz wines, made of grapes which ripened at a pleasant warmth. It is robust and offers opulent, juicy aromas, without showing dominant notes of new oak or an excessive alcohol content. This Shiraz was produced for the first time in 1962 and owed its name ‘Kalimna’ to the renowned vineyard located in the Barossa Valley. Penfolds acquired this vineyard in 1945, from whose grapes the wine was initially solely made.Today, the Bin 28 is a real Penfolds - a multi-regional and multi-vineyard blend, which means that this wine is made from vines from different regions and vineyards. It shows clearly defined, ripe fruit in its youth, concentration and significant fruit sweetness, with minimal wood influence.

In the South Tyrolean “Unterland”, in the middle of the valley, surrounded by orchards and vineyards near the river Adige lies the traditional winery Peter Zemmer. The Lagrein Reserve is a wonderful creation from the autochthonous variety.The characterful red wine has a garnet red color with purple hues. On the nose, a gorgeous multifaceted bouquet, with notes of violets, dark chocolate, berries, licorice and vanilla. On the palate, velvety, with a clear structure and supple, soft tannins.The wine comes from selected individual vineyards. 15 months the Lagrein Reserve matured in barrique-barrels, after the assemblage ten months in large oak barrels. Pintia Toro 2020

This red wine is a pure Tinta de Toro. This is the name of this special variety of the Tempranillo grape, which achieves unmistakable qualities under the conditions of the Toro region. Even the bouquet of the Pintia Toro captivates connoisseurs with its complexity. Notes of blackcurrants and cherries interact impressively with nuances of dark chocolate and coffee. Gutiérrez says: "The nose is very expressive, with bright cherry fruit." The wine is fresher than the norm in the region, with well-integrated oak, floral and perfumed.On the palate, the top wine from Bodegas Pintia, located around 100 kilometers west of Vega Sicilia, is dry and intensely aromatic, with a medium body. The winery itself describes it as probably the "fruitiest Pintia" to date. Minerality, barrique aromas and fruitiness (blue berries) create an enchanting interplay.The impenetrable pupur-colored Pintia Toro matured for 10 months in French and American oak (18%), with more than 80 percent new barrels being used. The grapes come from vines that are on average around 35 years old. Bodegas Pintia itself states that the bottled Tempranillo can be stored for up to 15 years and should be enjoyed at a drinking temperature of 18 degrees. We hope you enjoy it!

Pio Cesare Barbaresco DOCG 2019

Der Barbaresco DOCG ist ein klassischer und ultimativer Nebbiolo aus dem Piemont vom Weingut Pio Cesare.Die Trauben stammen fast ausschließlich aus der Gemeinde Treiso. Die restlichen Trauben stammen von Weinbergen in Barbaresco und San Rocco Seno d'Elvio. Dies führt zu einem Wein mit mehr Komplexität aufgrund der unterschiedlichen Terroirs. Die Gärung findet mit optimalem Kontakt zwischen den Schalen und dem gärenden Wein statt, um dem Wein Farbe und Charakter zu verleihen. Die Trauben gären bei etwa 25 Grad und bleiben zwischen drei und vier Wochen mit dem gärenden Wein in Kontakt. Anschließend reift er in Barriques, dabei zum Teil in neuen Fässern aus französischer Eiche. Ein Teil des Barbaresco DOCG erfuhr eine Reifung im Holz von bis zu drei Jahren, um ihm mehr Komplexität zu verleihen und Eleganz und Samtigkeit des Weins weiter zu betonen.Der Barbaresco DOCG duftet nach Gewürzen, Trüffeln, Marmelade, mit schöner Vanille, sehr breit und komplex. Im Mund viel Finesse und Komplexität, kraftvoll und elegant zugleich, reine, schöne Vanille, feine Säure und schöne Tannine. Ein langer Nachhall schließt den Wein perfekt ab.Solo ein begeisternder Wein, aber auch toll zu kräftigen Gerichten, gedünstetem rotem Fleisch, rotem Wild, Reh, Hase oder kräftigem Käse.

Sie werden auf den familieneigenen Weinbergen in Serralunga d'Alba (Ornato, La Serra und Briccolina), Grinzane Cavour (Gustava und Garretti), La Morra (Roncaglie), Novello (Ravera) und Monforte (Mosconi) angebaut. Seit Generationen wird der Barolo aus Trauben verschiedener Regionen hergestellt. Diese traditionelle Formel wird von den Barolo-Produzenten verwendet, um Weine herzustellen, die alle Merkmale des Barolo-Gebiets in sich vereinen. Die Trauben werden von Hand geerntet und sortiert und nur bei perfekter Reife von Mitte Oktober bis Anfang November geerntet.Der Pio Cesare Barolo DOCG ist von einer wunderschönen, kerzenroten Farbe. The Nebbiolo Lange DOC from the Italian winery Pio Cesare in Piedmont is a pure Nebbiolo. The world-famous Barolo and Barbaresco wines are also made from this well-known grape. However, if the latter red representatives of northern Italy are too weighty for you, the Nebbiolo Langhe DOC is just the thing. Although it is similar to its big brothers, it is more of a lighter and dancier version. One of the reasons for this is that the grapes for the Pio Cesare Nebbiolo Langhe DOC are harvested a little earlier and fermentation on the skins only takes around 12-13 days.The result is a dry red wine that is a lighter version of the great wines, but still has a clear personality, with the typical character of Nebbiolo, but in a more accessible form, with plenty of finesse and smoothness.This Nebbiolo is deliciously smoky and spicy on the nose, with hints of cherry fruit, floral, vanilla and bay leaf.Soft and supple on the palate, powerful at the same time, a real personality, cherries, vanilla, cream, good tannins and a fresh acidity on the finish.The Nebbiolo Langhe DOC is an excellent accompaniment to meat-based main courses full of character, salads, cold starters or lightly matured cheeses.
