Das junge Weingut Vigneti del Vulture liegt in der Region Basilikata in Süditalien. Dort erhebt sich auch der weithin sichtbare Monte Vulture, ein seit langem erloschener Vulkan. Seine Asche prägt die fruchtbaren Böden der Region, in der herausragende Weine und Oliven heranreifen. Hier ist die Heimat des berühmten Aglianico del Vulture, einer Rebsorte, die griechischen Ursprungs ist. Sie braucht viele Jahre, um ihre ganze Kraft und als Produkt kräftige Rotweine mit tiefer Farbe zu kreieren.

In der Anbauregion Aglianico del Vulture, ca. 150 Kilometer östlich von Neapel gelegen, übernahmen ein paar junge Enthusiasten die Rebflächen einer aufgelösten Winzergenossenschaft. Sie konnten sofort über Reben im idealen Alter verfügen und somit schon bald mit hervorragenden Weinen an den Markt gehen.

Vigneti del Vulture ist Bestandteil der Farnese Vini Group, die ihnen mit Know-How in Kellerei und Vermarktung zur Seite stehen.

Bei Vigneti del Vulture wird nicht nur erfolgreich die Sorte Aglianico del Vulture angebaut, sondern auch die Weißweine aus Greco Bianco und Fiano haben mittlerweile ein außergewöhnliches Niveau erreicht.
