Der El Coto Blanco stammt aus der angesehenen Bodega El Coto de Rioja, die für ihre authentischen und qualitativ hochwertigen Weine bekannt ist. Als einer der beliebtesten Weißweine der Region vereint er die typischen Eigenschaften der Rioja: Frische, Fruchtigkeit und eine harmonische Balance. Dieser Wein wird überwiegend aus der Viura-Traube gekeltert, einer der charakteristischen weißen Rebsorten der Rioja. Die Trauben stammen aus sorgfältig ausgewählten Lagen mit kalkhaltigen Böden, die dem Wein seine feine Mineralität verleihen. Nach der Lese werden die Trauben schonend gepresst und temperaturkontrolliert in Edelstahltanks vergoren. Dieser Ausbau bewahrt die Frische und Fruchtaromen des Weins, während die natürliche Säure für Lebendigkeit sorgt. Der El Coto Blanco zeigt sich im Glas in einem leuchtenden Strohgelb mit grünlichen Reflexen. Gut Hermannsberg GG Traiser Bastei Riesling 2019

This “Große Gewächs” (grand cru, literally “great growth”) from the Hermannsberg estate is a fascinating delight: it has a bouquet hinting of exotic fruit with green and yellow herbal notes and discreet nuances of honey. This wine is charming on the palate complemented by a finish with fine acidity - a Riesling wine of the highest quality. This is also due to the slopes on which the grapes for the Gut Hermannsberg GG Traiser Bastei Riesling are grown. The winery explains: “This is one of the most spectacular vineyards in the world. The Rotenfels encloses the little stage like an amphitheatre where only the Riesling puts in such an impressive performance. The crenellated formations above the vineyard gave it its name.” The massif with its huge heat reservoir looms over the vines. During the day, hot temperatures prevail, but at night it cools down drastically. This results in a spectacular wine from spectacular vineyards. The stony soils are the basis for elegant Riesling wines with a fine minerality and a distinctive fruitiness. Try this exceptional Riesling with special dishes such as baked beetroot with hot-smoked salmon and grilled lobster on saffron mussel risotto. Hensel und Gretel Cuvée Weißwein 2023

Friendships such as the one between wine-makers Thomas Hensel and Markus Schneider count for a lot. Both come from the Palatinate and both of them create their own outstanding wines, so it was only logical that Hensel and Schneider decided to collaborate on a joint project.They created the Hensel and Gretel Weißwein (white wine), amongst others. This cuvée consists of Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc and Pinot Gris. It is a fine, shimmering gold in the glass. On the nose, the wine surprises connoisseurs with an abundance of fruit aromas such as notes of apples, pears and tropical fruit like melon, peaches and passion fruit.On the palate, the Hensel and Gretel Weisswein is marvellously powerful and expressive. It is a multi-faceted, complex wine that is a genuine delight right from the first sip. The wine was aged in second-fill wooden casks, leading to light notes of smoke and oak. The finish is slightly sweet.The Hensel and Gretel Weißwein is not only a lovely terrace wine but is also a wonderful accompaniment to light dishes.

Der Karthäuserhof Bruno Pinot Blanc ist ein Weißwein aus dem Anbaugebiet Mosel und entstammt der Parzelle Karthäuserhofberg, welche sich in Trier-Eitelsbach befindet. In der Nase entfaltet der Wein frische Aromen von Birnen, weißen Pfirsichen und Honigmelonen. Dazu gesellen sich Noten von Haselnuss und feine Röstaromen. Am Gaumen beeindruckt der Bruno Pinot Blanc mit einer milden Säure und viel Frische. Er ist dicht und strukturiert mit viel Kraft und Saft, was einen intensiven Schmelz ergibt. Kleine Zalze Vineyard Selection Chenin Blanc 2024

Notes of peach, guava, peach and sweet melon characterize the bouquet of the Kleine Zalze Vineyard Chenin Blanc. There are also subtle nuances of vanilla and oak. On the palate, this Chenin Blanc from the Coastal region is very balanced and creamy, with an elegant acidity and a pleasant, underlying minerality.This fine white wine from South Africa matured for seven months in barriques. No new barrels were used to ensure that the unique characteristics of the specific terroirs were retained in the wine. This Chenin Blanc can be enjoyed now, but with careful cellaring it should age elegantly over the next 10 years. The dry wine is a suitable accompaniment to seafood and fish, asparagus and poultry.
