Van Volxem Schonfels Riesling GG dry 2021

Following a long tradition, the German winery Van Volxem has vinified this wonderful Riesling. The Van Volxem Riesling Schonfels GG dry is a real treat and will have Riesling lovers raving.The Riesling grapes have an excellent terroir. Ancient marine deposits and a cool but balanced climate prevail on the steep slopes of the Mosel-Saar-Ruwer region. The Schonfels site is located on a steep south-east facing slope. Excellent for ripening the grapes, which are harvested by hand in October.The fragrance of the Van Volxem Riesling Schonfels GG dry is delicate and floral, with notes of peach, apricot, almond, pear, plum and lime. The white wine shows depth and ripe fruit with hints of spices and herbs. If you give this wonderful Riesling a little air, creamy aromas emerge. As with the other wines in the series, this is a clearly structured wine made from the Negroamaro grape variety.The Salento peninsula in Apulia, with its perfect sunshine and soils of red earth and clay, produces lush, full-bodied wines. The result is an extraordinary aroma with freshness, flavor and minerality.The medium pink color shines like a summer sunset. The I Muri Puglia Negroamaro Rosato has an intense aroma of strawberry, black cherry and a bouquet of roses. It tastes incredibly fresh and balanced, just like a good summer rose should. The Muscat grape variety probably suggests a rather sweet wine. However, the Wolfberger Signature Muscat is made from the Muscat d’Alsace and Muscat Ottonel grape varieties and is not to be confused with a sweet liqueur wine. These grape varieties produce dry, refreshing white wines.This wine is a pale yellow with silver glints in the glass. It is redolent of pears, lychees and floral notes.
