Previous vintages of this Primitivo from Apulia have won numerous awards. The wine unites notes of sweet berries (blackberries, wild berries and cherries) and intense nuances of dried fruit in its bouquet. On the palate, the popular red wine from South Italy is wonderfully aromatic, velvety and full-bodied, with finely integrated tannins, showing a great density.The impressive, deep aromas and the full body of the Doppio Passo Primitivo are based on a traditional production process, which is similar to the Ripasso di Valpolicella method. After the first fermentation, the wine is added to the grape skins once again for a second fermentation. During this second step of the ‘double process’ (doppio passo), the wine extracts colour, aromas and a fine hint of sweetness from the skins once more. Enjoy this red wine made from hand-picked, ripe Primitivo grapes from Salento in Apulia with tangy cheeses, pasta, or game.

Der vollmundige Doppio Passo Primitivo Salento Puglia in der besonders schönen Reliefflasche ist eine beliebte Spezialität aus Italien. Seine eindrucksvolle Aromatiefe und seine Fülle beruhen auf dem traditionellen Herstellungsverfahrens Ripasso di Valpolicella. Der Wein wird nach der ersten Gärung noch einmal auf die Schalen gegeben, um erneut zu vergären. Während dieses „doppelten Gangs“ (doppio passo) entzieht der Wein den Schalen noch einmal Farbe, Aroma und einen feinen Hauch von Süße. Diese zweite Gärung verhilft dem Primitivo zu mehr Intensität und Fülle.Im Bouquet vereinen sich Noten von süßen Beerenfrüchten (Brombeeren, Waldbeeren und Kirschen) mit intensiven Noten von Dörrobst. Am Gaumen ist der charakterstarke Rotwein aus Süditalien wunderbar aromatisch, vollmundig und samtig, die Tanninen sind fein eingebunden.

Der tief rubinrote Doppio Passo Riserva Primitivo di Manduria DOC ist eine wunderbare Rotwein aus der Rebsorte Primitivo. Der Rotwein aus Apulien duftet nach Noten von reifen Kirschen und Pflaumen, die mit unterschwelligen Holztönen und einer schönen Würze ein eindrucksvolles Zusammenspiel ergeben. Am Gaumen ist dieser Doppio Passo Riserva vollmundig, weich und ausgewogen, mit einer großen Tiefe.Die handverlesenen Trauben wurden für die Herstellung dieses Weines ein zweites Mal auf den Schalen vergoren (doppelter Gang, ital. doppio passo). Der Ausbau erfolgte über ein Jahr in Stahltanks, im Anschluss lagerte der Doppio Passo Riserva 12 Monate in großen Eichenfässern.Dieser italienische Rotwein passt sehr gut zu Lammfleisch (gegrillt, geschmort oder gebraten) oder auch zu kräftigem Käse.

Mineralisches und vulkanisches Gestein kennzeichnen das Terroir um Kampanien und Veneventano, weshalb der Wein von typisch milder Würze geprägt ist.Das kräftige Bouquet enthält Noten von reifen, dunklen Beeren, Gewürzen und Pflaumen sowie subtile florale Akzente. Geschmacklich bietet dieser Rotwein süßliche Nuancen, einen vollen Körper und den charakteristischen Fruchtkern. Im langen Abgang kommen all diese Aromen noch einmal zur Geltung.

Der Epicuro Negroamaro Cabernet Sauvignon Puglia IGP ist ein Rotwein, der in der Region Apulien in der „Stiefelspitze“ im Süden Italiens produziert wird. Diese Cuvée kombiniert zwei beliebte Rebsorten: den Negroamaro und den Cabernet Sauvignon. Der Negroamaro ist eine autochthone Rebsorte aus Apulien und bringt fruchtige Aromen von dunklen Beeren wie Brombeeren und schwarzen Kirschen hervor. Er verleiht dem Wein auch eine gewisse Fülle und Weichheit im Geschmack. Der Cabernet Sauvignon, eine international bekannte Rebsorte, fügt dem Wein Struktur, Tannine und komplexe Aromen von Pflaumen, Pfeffer und Blumen hinzu.
