Epicuro Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOP

The Epicuro Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC owes its name to the Greek philosopher Epicurus. He placed sensual pleasure and enjoyment at the center of his world view. The name can certainly be understood as a challenge!

The grapes for Epicuro Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC are grown on a single vineyard in the Chieti region. The Femar Vini winery creates a spicy red wine from the grapes. The grape juice shimmers a rich ruby red in the glass. The bouquet is wonderfully vinous, intense and persistent. On the palate, the wine is full, harmonious, warm and round, accompanied by a subtle acidity.

Enjoy this single-varietal red wine at a drinking temperature of 17 to 19 °C. Epicuro is an excellent accompaniment to hearty game dishes and braised meat, spicy cheese, pizza and pasta. Insider tip: Enjoy a glass of this red wine with dark and bitter dark chocolate.

Femar Vini
