Château Peyrouley Bordeaux Bio Rouge AOC 2020

Damien Houx, der Önologe vom Weingut Château Peyrouley, tritt mit diesem Wein den Beweis dafür an, dass ein Wein, der mit dem Label „AB“ ausgezeichnet wurde (agriculture biologique, übersetzt: biologischer Anbau) weder teuer sein muss, noch geschmacklich hinter anderen Weinen aus Bordeaux zurücksteht. Dabei hilft sicherlich auch der ausgezeichnete Jahrgang 2020, der mühelos an die Reihe der perfekten Wetterbedingungen in 2018 und 2019 anknüpfen kann.Dieser Rotwein aus dem Entre-Deux-Mers verdankt viel seinem Terroir, das auf Ton-Kalkstein-Anhöhen aus dem Oligozän liegt. Die Hänge und die Südlage entwässern die Böden perfekt. Da die Trauben so im Sommer genau die Sonne erhalten um eine optimale Reife und Konzentration zu erlangen, ist ein reifer und ausdrucksstarker Rebsaft das Resultat. Der Château Peyrouley besteht aus 75% Merlot und 25% Cabernet Sauvignon und wird nach den traditionellen Methoden des Bordelais vinifiziert.Dabei sorgt der Merlot für eine schöne Ausgewogenheit und Rundheit am Gaumen, mit wunderbaren roten Früchten; der Cabernet Sauvignon bringt genau die Würzigkeit und den Körper, der das Gesamtwerk vervollständigt.Ein toller trockener Wein zu rotem Fleisch, Wild oder Käse. Wir empfehlen, da der Château Peyrouley Bordeaux 2020 noch recht jung ist, diesen vor dem Genuss mindestens eine halbe Stunde zu dekantieren.

Der 2018er Pontet-Canet wurde mit 20/20 Punkten von André Kunz bei Bxtotal (René Gabriels Weinseite) bewertet, so dass wir diesen hier zu Wort kommen lassen:"Konzentriertes, gut opulentes, cremiges, komplexes Bouquet, Brombeergelee, Damassinepflaumen, Dörrfrüchte, Schwarztee, Korinthen, Lakritze, fein Caramel, Kandis, Minze. Dichtverwobener, vielschichtiger, cremiger, fein opulenter, burgundischer Gaumen mit fein konzentrierter, cremiger Struktur, sehr viel feinem Tannin, süsser, super Aromatik, kräftiger, feiner Frucht, sehr langer, aromatischer, frischer Abgang mit vielen Rückaromen. Ein völlig anderer Stil als die anderen grossen Weine vom Médoc, aber ein grossartiger Wein".Trinkreif ab Ende der 2020er Jahre.Kunz: 20/20 Punkte; James Suckling: 98/100 Punkte; Falstaff: 99/100 Punkte.

Château Pré la Lande Cuvée Diane AOC 2016

Wir freuen uns, Ihnen diese spezielle Cuvée des Château Pré la Lande präsentieren zu können. Nicht nur, weil dieser Wein aus dem herausragenden Jahr 2016 stammt; auch weil er vegan ist, produziert nach dem "Demeter"- Standard und anerkannt unter dem Gütesiegel "AB", dem vom französischen Agrarministerium vergebenen offiziellen Siegel für Erzeugnisse aus biologischem Anbau.Das Château und die Weingärten liegen in Pineuilh, an einem Hang der Appellation Sainte Foy Côtes de Bordeaux, wo der Boden ausschließlich aus Ton auf einer Kalksteinschicht besteht. Das ist die Garantie für einen Wein, der Eleganz und Persönlichkeit vereint.Die Kaltmazeration wird nur unter Verwendung wilder Hefen durchgeführt. Es werden keine Sulfite während der Weinbereitung eingesetzt. Die Maischegärung dauert 5 Wochen. Die anschließende Reifung erfolgt für ca. 15 Monate in hochkarätigen französischen Eichenfässern von 300 Litern, wovon 40% neu sind. Die Assemblage besteht aus Merlot und Cabernet Franc.Die Farbe dieses wunderbaren trockenen Bordeaux ist tiefrot, die Nase ist komplex mit Aromen von roten und schwarzen Früchten, Zedernholz, Vanille und Wildkräutern. Im Mund findet man eine Mischung aus Kraft und Eleganz. Die Tannine sind fein und dicht, aber sehr gut eingebunden. Das Finale ist lang und weich mit Aromen von roten Früchten.Ein toller französischer Wein, aus umweltschonendster Herstellung, der bereits jetzt trinkreif ist, aber sicherlich noch einige Jahre auf dem Höhepunkt bleiben sollte.Als Solo-Wein prima zu genießen, aber auch passend zu Grillfleisch, Ratatouille oder Pasta-Gerichten.

Cielo e Terra 3 Passo Rosso 2023

The 3 Passo is a special organic wine. Its name implies the method of wine production. Expressed in simple terms, the wine is blended from three components. One third of the wine is made from overripe grapes that are processed using the appassimento method. The second third of the wine is naturally fermented. The pumping over (remontage) gives the wine more colour and taste. After fermentation, the last third of the wine remains in wooden casks for some time, giving the Cielo e Terra 3 Passo its special character and aromas of vanilla and spices. The wine is a deep garnet-red in colour and offers intense notes of ripe fruit on the nose. The bouquet is complemented by light wood aromas. The wine is powerful on the palate, showing rich fruit aromas and slightly notes of vanilla. The 3 Passo is soft, harmonious and full-bodied, with a complex, prolonged finish. Serve this wonderful wine from Apulia with hearty dishes such as T-bone steaks, for example.

Clos Henri Estate Sauvignon Blanc Organic 2024

The Clos Henri Estate Sauvignon Blanc Organic is an expressive white wine from New Zealand that impressively reflects the terroir of the renowned Marlborough wine region. This organic wine comes exclusively from Clos Henri Estate's own vineyards located in the Wairau Valley - a sub-region known for its cool climate and mineral-rich soils.The grapes for this Sauvignon Blanc are cultivated in high planting density on three different soil types: clayey Wither and Broadbridge subsoil as well as barren Greywacke stones. This special soil diversity - created by two prehistoric glacial movements - gives the wine its multi-layered structure and elegant minerality. Organic cultivation, dry farming and selective harvesting produce a wine typical of the grape variety with a clear expression of the terroir.After gentle pressing and separation of the must, it is fermented at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks. The wine then matures for three months on the fine lees - with regular batonnage - to develop additional complexity and structure. The result is a fresh, textured Sauvignon Blanc with excellent ageing potential of five to eight years.In the glass, the Clos Henri Sauvignon Blanc shines in a light straw yellow. Intense aromas of lemon blossom, orange zest and fresh grapefruit unfold on the nose. On the palate, the wine is lively, clear and juicy - with precise acidity and a long, mineral finish.This Sauvignon Blanc is an ideal accompaniment to ceviche, tuna tataki, goat's cheese tart or fresh figs. Serve at 10-12 °C to bring out its delicate aromas to the full.

Col d'Orcia Brunello di Montalcino DOCG 2020

The Col d'Orcia Brunello di Montalcino DOCG has a wonderfully fruity bouquet hinting of plums and ripe red fruit, complemented by a fine spice, resulting in a beautiful array of aromas. The Wine Advocate states: “The bouquet is redolent of wild berries, cherries, dried raspberries and spices.” On the palate, this wine from Tuscany is well-structured, with soft, ripe tannins which harmonize perfectly with the oak aromas stemming from the long ageing in oak casks. The wine shows a finish offering lovely nuances of sour cherries.The Col d'Orcia Brunello di Montalcino DOCG is the result of a meticulous selection of Sangiovese grapes harvested by hand. This red wine matured for three years in Slovenian and French oak casks, and was further refined while aging for another 12 months in the bottle. Robert Parker rightly awards this exceptional creation more than 90 points.
