Château d'Esclans Garrus

This rosé from Château d'Esclans is phenomenal. Fragrant notes of mango and nectarine on the nose. On the palate, spicy and minerally with impressive depth. The finish is exceptionally long. An unforgettable rosé of Côtes de Provence, created mainly of Grenache and a minor proportion Rolle (Vermentino).The grapes for the Château d'Esclans Garrus come from vines that are at least 80 years old. For this rosé the Saignée method was used (90% free run juice, 10% first slight pressing). Eight months matured the wine in oak barrels, with regular bâtonnage, the stirring of the lees. Für diesen trockenen Rosé aus Deutschland wurden gleich drei verschiedene Rebsorten miteinander kombiniert. Die Mischung der Rebsorten aus Cabernet Sauvignon, Frühburgunder und Merlot setzt ein interessantes Spiel der Aromen frei und sorgt für eine enorme Vielseitigkeit.Der Dr. Koehler Doktorspiele QbA Rosé erinnert vom Duft her an rote Beeren. Dieser Eindruck bestätigt sich, wenn die ersten Tropfen den Gaumen benetzen. Paul Mas Vignes de Nicole Rosé

Die Rebsorten Grenache, Mourvèdre und Syrah prägen diesen Vignes de Nicole Rosé. Die Trauben wachsen auf den Hügeln des Herault Tals auf lehmigen, kreidehaltigen Böden und werden für diese Cuvee einzeln vinifiziert, wobei der Gärungsprozess zwei Wochen bei 17 Grad Celsius andauerte. Danach reifte der Wein der Domaines Paul Mas 40 Tage auf der Hefe. Zum Einsatz kamen neue beschichtete Zementtanks.Der Vignes de Nicole Rosé zeichnet sich durch eine sehr klare leicht rosa Farbe aus. In der Nase finden sich Aromen von roten Beeren, Kirschen und tropischen Früchten. Am Gaumen ist der französiche Wein herrlich frisch, leicht säurebetont, kräftig aber rund und mit einer guten Länge im Abgang.Zu Meeresfrüchten, Schalentieren oder zu Schweinefleisch ist der Rosé-Wein einfach perfekt.
