The Colomé Estate Malbec comes from the high altitudes of the Calchaquí Valley in Salta, Argentina. Four vineyards between 1,700 and 3,111 meters above sea level produce grapes with intense fruit, freshness and unique minerality.In the glass, it has a deep ruby red color and seduces with aromas of blackberries, red fruits and exotic flowers. The De Toren Délicate is an elegant, fresh red wine cuvée from the South African wine estate De Toren, which is known for precise, balanced wines with a clear style. The nose reveals fine aromas of roses and ripe strawberries. On the palate, the wine presents itself with a medium body, juicy fruit and very gentle, well-integrated tannins. The finish is balanced and pleasantly soft.The cuvée of Malbec, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot is carefully matured to preserve freshness and balance. Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon mature for around twelve months in multiple French oak barrels, while the Malbec is matured in stainless steel tanks to preserve the primary fruit.Thanks to its low tannin content, De Toren Délicate is intended for immediate consumption. It is ideal as an aperitif and should be served slightly chilled at around 11 to 13 °C. The Edition Z from the South African wine estate De Toren is a cuvée or a blend, as they say in South Africa, of the Merlot, Malbec, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot grape varieties. These grape varieties and types of cuvée can be found in Bordeaux, particularly on the right bank of the Gironde. De Toren Fusion V 2020

If you want to taste one of the absolute top wines from South Africa, De Toren Fusion V is a must. The V stands for the 5 Bordeaux grape varieties used in the wine. The quality is on a par with the great wines from Bordeaux.After hand-picking and selecting the grapes, a long, gentle fermentation followed. Maturation took place over a period of 12 months in 50% new and 50% second-fill barrels. Barrels of 225 liters were used. (90% French and 10% American) In the glass a clear violet with a slight sparkle. The nose is characterized by blueberry, cedar, black cherry, dark chocolate and a hint of fennel. On the palate, De Toren Fusion V offers a silky fullness with a hint of sweet fruit. The Donier Donatus is a masterful cuvée of Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Malbec, Merlot and Cabernet Franc, sourced exclusively from the Dornier vineyard on the sun-drenched slopes of Stellenbosch Mountain. The unique combination of red, weathered granite soil and clay-rich soils ensures that the grapes ripen slowly and evenly. The result is a profound wine of impressive concentration and fine elegance.The hand-picked grapes are carefully selected in the cellar and fermented separately. Fermentation takes place in open fermentation vats with pumping over four times a day to ensure optimum extraction while preserving the fruit aromas. After malolactic fermentation, the wine matures for 18 months in French oak barrels, a third of which are new barrels - this gives the wine a fine spiciness and complexity without masking the freshness. The harmonious blending only takes place after maturation, so that only the best components make it into the bottle.In the glass, Donier Donatus impresses with an intense black-violet color and a multi-faceted aroma of ripe blackcurrant, cassis and blackberry.
