The Anthonij Rupert Protea Rosé is a classic rosé in the Provence style. The grapes were selected by hand and aged in stainless steel tanks. Afterwards, they remained in contact with the yeast for some time in order to develop the aroma to the fullest. The Anthonij Rupert Protea Rosé is a pale pink to red in the glass. This rosé is impressively fruity and offers aromas of raspberries and peach in its bouquet, along with nuances of apple blossoms.The palate is characterised by a great juiciness and a lovely, fresh acidity, showing noticeable aromas of strawberries, raspberries, other ripe berries and citrus peel. Bellevue Cinsault 2022

The Bellevue Cinsault comes from one of South Africa's most traditional wine estates. Rooted in Stellenbosch, the Bellevue family winery is one of the pioneers of this versatile grape variety, which was once known as Hermitage. Today, Bellevue is reinterpreting Cinsault as a fresh, fruity red wine with moderate alcohol and a fine structure, ideal for the warmer months of the year.Bellevue Cinsault has a bright ruby red color in the glass and a lively, fragrant nose. Aromas of raspberry, strawberry, sour cherry and a hint of beet characterize the bouquet. On the palate, the red wine is medium-bodied, silky and fresh, with a subtle spiciness and supple tannins that blend harmoniously into the overall picture.The grapes come from old bush vines planted between 1994 and 1996. After gentle pressing, the must was fermented immediately. Fermentation lasted around four days, accompanied by daily pumping over for gentle extraction. The wine underwent malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks and then matured on the fine lees. Ageing took place in French and American oak, which gives the wine structure and depth without masking the fruit.This Cinsault is an ideal accompaniment to beef carpaccio, grilled tuna, antipasti or summer vegetable dishes. Thanks to its freshness and fine structure, it can also be served slightly chilled - perfect for the terrace or a picnic.Best served at 14-16°C - slightly chilled, it reveals its fresh, summery elegance to optimum effect.

The Beyerskloof Traildust is a blend consisting of the Pinotage, Cinsault and Pinot Noir grape varieties. Everyone who knows that the Pinotage grape variety is a cross between Cinsault, also known as Heritage, and Pinot Noir immediately recognises the special quality of this wine.Winemaker Anri Truter, the owner of the Beyerskloof estate, thus united the ancient grape varieties with the new Pinotage cross. One might suppose that this was a bold experiment. However, after several years of trying the estate produced a wonderful wine. The Beyerskloof Traildust is, so to speak, a tribute to the legacy of the Pinotage.The wine has a wonderful bouquet offering aromas of black cherries, plums and flowers, accompanied by subtle hints of spice. It is a brilliant ruby-red in the glass. On the palate, the wine is juicy and fresh, with soft and balanced tannins. This is an elegant blend that is a rare find indeed.The Beyerskloof Traildust matured for 12 months in French oak casks, giving the wine its balance and power to accompany duck or game carpaccio, for example.

Die Weinfachwelt ist sich selten so einig wie bei diesem Rosé. Nicht nur der Wine Advocate, James Suckling, Wine and Spirits und Wine Spectator loben diesen Wein in höchsten Tönen. James Suckling spricht sogar davon, Zitat: „Dies könnte der beste Rosé der Welt sein“. Nun genug der Superlative und zur eigentlichen Beschreibung.Der Château Routas Rosé Provence hat eine zart hellrosa Farbe. In der Nase finden sich frische Noten der Wassermelone, Pfirsicharomen und Noten von Erdbeeren und ein Hauch von Orangenschale. Am Gaumen ist dieser Rosé weich, geschmeidig und wunderschön strukturiert. Der lebendige Geschmack nach Walderdbeeren, Kirsche wird begleitet von mineralischen Noten und einer leichten Pfefferwürze. Clos Saint Jean Châteauneuf-du-Pape La Combe des Fous AOC 2020

Der Clos Saint Jean Chateauneuf du Pape La Combe des Fous 2020, hergestellt aus Trauben der Hügellage "La Crau" vom Châteauneuf-du-Pape Weingut Clos Saint Jean, wird oftmals als Kultwein oder Ikone beworben. Wir halten ihn schlichtweg für einen der herausragenden Châteauneuf-du-Pape Weine überhaupt, vinifiziert von der inzwischen fünften Generation der Maurels, den Besitzern von Clos Saint Jean. Ihr Vorfahre, Edmont Tacussel, hatte diese Lage zwischen 1905 und 1910 bepflanzt, und diese Reben stehen dort immer noch. Da der Weinberg so durchsetzt war mit riesigen Kieseln und es mit dem Pferd eigentlich aussichtslos war, hier Weinbergsarbeit zu betreiben, wurde die Lage "La Combe des Fous" genannt, der Hügel der Verrückten. Letztlich stellte sich dieser Rebberg als eine, wenn nicht die beste Lage der ganzen Gegend heraus, und die Weine, die von hier stammen, sind Châteauneuf-du-Pape der Spitzenklasse.Höchst geringer Ertrag, Handlese und über 100 Jahre alte Reben machen hier den Stoff aus, aus dem Träume sind. Die Assemblage besteht aus 60% Grenache, 20% Syrah 10% Cinsault und weiteren 10% Vaccarese. Der Grenache wird übrigens im 600 Liter-Holzfass ausgebaut, die anderen Rebsorten geniessen eine Nachreifung für 12 Monate in neuen Eichenfässern.In der Nase ein äußerst pikanter Charme mit Anklängen von Waldbeeren, viel Schwarzkirsche, Pflaume, Lavendel, Wildkräuter, Schlehe, Tabak, schwarze Oliven und Tee. Der Gaumen ist fein aufgelöst, sehr ausdrucksvoll, würzig und elegant und zu den zuvor erwähnten Aromen gesellen sich Pralinen, Salz und Grapefruit. Das alles steht in perfekter Harmonie zueinander, schön ausgewogen und balanciert, nichts, was hier zu dominant oder gar erschlagend wirken könnte. Das Terroir ist einfach so genial und magisch, dass hier alles seinen Platz findet. Der Nachhall ist überwältigend lang.
