Gerade in dieser Region entstehen in besonderen Jahrgängen Weine, die nicht zu unterschätzen sind und viel Potential offenbaren. Der Spruch „in guten Jahren kleine Châteaus kaufen“ wird durch diesen Rebsaft mehr als bestätigt.Wir haben es hier mit einem wunderbar saftigen, zugänglichen und fruchtigen Vertreter Bordeaux zu tun, dessen Cuvée aus 70% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon und 10% Cabernet Franc besteht.Die Familie Chevillard, Eigentümer von Janoy-Bellevue, legt Wert darauf, dass die Weine früh konsumierbar sind und nicht zu stark im Fass ausgebaut werden. Ein eher klassischer Bordeaux, der uns durch seine Frische und Fruchtigkeit überzeugte. Viel attraktive Frucht also, insbesondere Blaubeeren, Kirschen, Pflaumen und ein Hauch von weißem Pfeffer bestimmen das Aromenbild. Die Tannine sind schön schmelzig und ergänzen sich sehr harmonisch mit der feinen Säure zu einem tollen Gesamtpaket, das durchaus nicht nur Bordeaux-Einsteigern gefallen dürfte.

Château L'Eden 2018

Zertifiziert mit den Labeln AREA (Agriculture Respectueuse de l´Environnement en Aquitaine) und HVE, entsteht im Médoc ein wunderbar konzentrierter und hocharomatischer Wein, der in diesem außerordentlich guten Jahrgang 2018 mehr als gelungen ist. 70% Merlot und 30% Cabernet Sauvignon machen diesen sehr eleganten Bordeaux aus, der in Temperatur kontrollierten Gärtanks entsteht und 12 Monate nachreift.Der 2018er Château L´Eden fasziniert durch seine tiefe, rubinrote Farbe. In der Nase viel schwarze Früchte, Blaubeeren, Gewürze, Cassis, etwas Eukalyptus und cremige Schokolade. Am Gaumen runde und seidige, geschliffene Tannine und eine sehr ausgewogene Balance durch die Tannine, die jedoch anwesend, aber nicht aufdringlich wirken. Der Nachhall ist lang und anhaltend.Dieser Wein hat ein durchaus langes Lagerpotential und sollte vor dem Genuß mindestens eine Stunde dekantiert werden. Ein wirklicher toller Bordeaux und mehr als nur ein Geheimtipp, von dem lediglich 50.000 Flaschen hergestellt wurden und der seinem Namen durchaus gerecht wird.Wir empfehlen den Château L´Eden 2018 als erlesenen Solo-Wein, aber auch gut im Duo mit Gegrilltem, Steak, würziger mediterraner Küche oder zu Hartkäse.

Der Wein ist Ausdruck dieses wunderbaren Terroirs und stammt von im Schnitt 38 Jahre alten Reben. Die Assemblage besteht aus 28% Petit Verdot, 18% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Cabernet Franc und 42% Merlot. Der Wein wird für 8 Monate im Barrique ausgebaut, davon 30% neues Holz.Im Weinberg wird äußerst schonend mit dem Wein und dem Ökosystem gearbeitet; der La Caderie Authentique 2018 trägt daher das Zertifizierungslabel "AB" (Agriculture Biologique) für organic viticulture.Die sehr ausdrucksstarke Nase begeistert mit Aromen von dunklen Früchten und Gewürzen; der Gaumen ist vollmundig und stoffig und es spiegeln sich diese Facetten wider. Der Abgang ist lang und anhaltend.Ein harmonischer Bordeaux, mit einem tollen Preis- Leistungsverhältnis, der sowohl beim Concours de Bordeaux, als auch bei der Challenge International die Medaille d´Argent gewonnen hat.Er passt perfekt zu Geflügel, Gegrilltem oder hartgereiftem Käse.

The Château La Commanderie is a cuvée made of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon and 45% Merlot. The grapes for this classical Saint-Estèphe, in the Cru Bourgeois range, come from vines that are more than 30 years old. The wine matured for 12 months in French oak casks.The vines for the 2017 La Commanderie grew in the highest vineyards with gravel soils located in the village of Saint-Estèphe. The wine is a typical example of this outstanding vintage in the Bordeaux region. It is already very enjoyable but will further improve over the next 8-10 years. The Château La Commanderie is beguiling on the nose, offering lovely, spicy aromas and fragrances of red and dark berries, cherries, pepper and polish. On the palate, it has an impressive abundance of fruit and silky, very well integrated tannins and a lovely long finish, showing subtle hints of mint and herbs.This charming Saint-Estèphe goes beautifully with beef, steaks, lamb, game and various cheeses. We recommend decanting the wine 1-2 hours before drinking it.

Dieser Wein passt hervorragend zu Gerichten wie gegrilltem Lamm, Rindfleisch oder gereiftem Käse und bietet eine erstklassige Verkörperung der Saint-Émilion-Weinkultur.

Château La Maroutine AOC 2018

Die alkoholische Gärung dieses zu 80% aus Merlot und zu 20% aus Cabernet Sauvignon bestehenden Rebsaftes dauert zwischen 8 bis 10 Tagen, mit zweimaligem Umpumpen am Tag. Dies unterstützt die optimale Extraktion der Aromen. Es folgt eine lange Mazeration von 25 bis 30 Tagen. Die malolaktische Gärung erfolgt in Tanks. Dort reift er weiter für etwa 18 Monate, bis er schließlich abgefüllt wird.Der Château La Maroutine 2018 überzeugt durch eine rubinrote Farbe. Die Nase zeigt charmante Kirschnoten und Kaffee- sowie Röstaromen. Am Gaumen vermittelt dieser Bordeaux eher einen weichen, vollen und runden Stil, wobei die Tannine zwar präsent, aber geschliffen und samtig sind. Der Merlot wirkt hier gut gereift und verführt mit schöner, dichter Frucht.Ein klassischer Bordeaux, der jetzt bis 2025 auf der Höhe der Trinkreife sein dürfte.Ein Genuß in geselliger Runde, aber auch sehr gut im food-pairing mit Gulasch, Braten oder zur Käseplatte.

Château La Tour Carnet Grand Cru Classé AOC 2018

This Bordeaux from the Haut-Médoc appellation was classified as a 4ème Cru Classé in the 1855 classification. It is a wine for connoisseurs, a head of character with rough edges, which, however, become somewhat smoother with ageing. The quality of the wines from La Tour Carnet has risen extraordinarily since Bernard Magrez took over in 1999.The nose is beautifully fruity with hints of black pepper, blueberries, morello cherries and blackcurrants, as well as mushrooms, leather and prunes. It comes across as quite powerful and juicy, but still shows a rather impetuous power, which will, however, subside. Overall, there is a lot of potential here for a long wine life, with already well-integrated tannins and a long finish.It is recommended to decant the wine, which was vinified from 30% Cabernet Sauvignon and 70% Merlot, at least one hour before drinking.

Château Labégorce, located at the northern end of Margaux, is back on the map of the great wines of this appellation, and the 2018 vintage is no exception, quite the contrary. The vineyard extends over 70 hectares of vines, surrounded by such prestigious neighbors as Château Margaux and Château Lascombes.The cuvée consists of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 44% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc and 3% Petit Verdot. The wine matures for 12-14 months in French oak barrels, 40-50% of which are new barrels. In the glass, Château Labégorce 2018 is a deep purple-garnet with a black center. The bouquet seduces with intense aromas of ripe blackcurrants, cherries and cassis, accompanied by spicy notes such as tobacco, exotic woods and a hint of liquorice. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied with a silky texture and well-integrated, fine-grained tannins. The finish is long and characterized by a subtle fruity sweetness and a pleasant freshness.Château Labégorce 2018 harmonizes perfectly with hearty dishes such as grilled beef, lamb chops, game dishes or stews. Matured cheese or black pudding also go well with this wine. For a special taste experience, we recommend pairing it with truffle aioli chicken hearts or wild boar with wild herb sauce.This wine has excellent ageing potential. Consisting of 46% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot, Château Labégorce is a model wine from the Margaux appellation with a great price-performance ratio. 2019 was a particularly good year on the left bank of the Gironde, enabling this vineyard, located on the northern edge of Margaux, to produce an exceptional grape juice of great precision and intensity.The 2019 Labégorce was matured in French oak, 40% of which was new barrels. Lots of blackcurrant, dark fruit, tobacco, coffee beans, dark cherry, chocolate, menthol, liquorice and beautiful roasted aromas create a harmonious aromatic picture, supported by fine and polished tannins. Château Labégorce Margaux 2020 is an excellent representative of the renowned Margaux appellation in the heart of the Bordeaux region in south-west France. Château Labégorce, whose roots date back to the 18th century, stands for elegance, sophistication and a deep understanding of traditional Bordeaux winemaking. The 2020 vintage benefited from a particularly favorable climate: a warm, dry summer with occasional rainfall in August ensured optimally ripened grapes with excellent concentration and freshness.The 2020 cuvée is dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon (50%) and Merlot (45%), supplemented by smaller proportions of Petit Verdot (2%) and Cabernet Franc (3%) - a classic composition that reflects the character of Margaux wines.In the glass, the wine is a deep, dark ruby red with violet reflections. On the nose, it unfolds a complex interplay of aromas of blackcurrant, ripe plum and cherry, accompanied by fine notes of cedar wood, licorice, tobacco and roasted coffee - a typical expression of the careful barrique maturation.On the palate, Château Labégorce 2020 is powerful and elegant at the same time. The tannins are silky but present, while the acidity structure lends the wine freshness and longevity. The medium to full body is carried by dark fruit, fine spice and mineral depth. The finish is long and balanced, with a hint of graphite and elegant wood notes.Château Labégorce 2020 is considered by many critics to be one of the best vintages of the house in the last decade. Renowned wine critics such as James Suckling awarded it up to 92-93 points, while Wine Advocate and Vinous also emphasized the wine's balance and depth. The excellent ageing potential is particularly praised: the wine is already accessible now, but promises a rewarding development in the bottle over the next 15 to 20 years.

Château Lalene Bordeaux Supérieur AOC 2020
