Diese Preis-Leistungs-Sensation stammt aus dem Herzen des Entre-deux-Mers in Bordeaux, gelegen zwischen den Flüssen Garonne und Dordogne. Gerade in dieser Region entstehen in besonderen Jahrgängen Weine, die nicht zu unterschätzen sind und viel Potential offenbaren. Der Spruch „in guten Jahren kleine Châteaus kaufen“ wird durch diesen Rebsaft mehr als bestätigt.

Wir haben es hier mit einem wunderbar saftigen, zugänglichen und fruchtigen Vertreter Bordeaux zu tun, dessen Cuvée aus 70% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon und 10% Cabernet Franc besteht.

Die Familie Chevillard, Eigentümer von Janoy-Bellevue, legt Wert darauf, dass die Weine früh konsumierbar sind und nicht zu stark im Fass ausgebaut werden. Ein eher klassischer Bordeaux, der uns durch seine Frische und Fruchtigkeit überzeugte. Viel attraktive Frucht also, insbesondere Blaubeeren, Kirschen, Pflaumen und ein Hauch von weißem Pfeffer bestimmen das Aromenbild. Die Tannine sind schön schmelzig und ergänzen sich sehr harmonisch mit der feinen Säure zu einem tollen Gesamtpaket, das durchaus nicht nur Bordeaux-Einsteigern gefallen dürfte.

Saint-Émilion, located on the right bank of Bordeaux, is still not only one of the best wine-growing regions in the Bordelais, but in the whole world. The reputation of the grape juices that come from there is no coincidence. The silkiness, freshness, fruit, volume and depth give these wines something unique. It is good that these values are also represented by wines such as Château Rozier, which offer this at a reasonable price without being too much of a burden on the wallet.The Rozier, which is vinified from Merlot and Cabernet Franc, was allowed to mature in peace. There was no time pressure during the harvest, which was done by hand. The wine was matured for around 15 months in oak barrels.The Rozier is characterized by a sparkling, deep red. Sweet plums, licorice, stewed fruit and some spices form a fine and seductive bouquet that is harmonious, soft and opulent. Typical of a true Saint-Émilion, the wine is also full-bodied and dense in texture. The finish is long and elegant.Château Rozier will keep for several years, but is already a pleasure to drink after at least an hour of decanting.An absolute recommendation as a solo wine, but also with game, beef, lamb or duck!

This fresh, fruity rosé offers on the nose notes of citrus, strawberry, blackberry, cherry and blackcurrant. The vineyards of Fronton, near Toulouse, are special because here the grape variety Négrette comes to their fullest potential. The Chateau Bellevue la Foret Rosé is a blend of mostly Négrette, added Gamay, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. On the palate the wine is round, balanced and smooth, with fine acidity. At the end a slightly spicy, long finish.Enjoy this remarkable French rosé, that shines in a bright pink colour, to chorizo, grilled red mullet, goat cheese or cheese cake.

Der Château Le Gardera ist ein wunderbarer "every-day" Bordeaux, der, nicht zuletzt aufgrund seines Ausnahmejahrganges und der Hingabe seiner Besitzer, die das Gut auf 16ha seit 2010 biologisch betreiben, mit weitaus höherpreisigen Bordeaux mithalten kann.Die Cuvée besteht aus 70% Merlot und 30% Cabernet Sauvignon. Der Château Le Gardera ist von tiefer, rubinroter Farbe. In der Nase Aromen reifer Brombeeren, Pflaumen und Cassis. Der Gaumen zeigt Schokolade, Kaffee, etwas Gewürze und sehr samtige und geschliffene Tannine. Der Nachhall ist erstaunlich lang. Insgesamt ein Wein, der durch seine Fruchtigkeit und schöne Struktur gefällt und viel mehr bietet, als sein Preis erwarten lässt.Vor dem Genuss sollte dieser Wein derzeit etwa eine Stunde dekantiert werden. Er wird aber sicherlich noch bis 2027 viel Trinkfreude bereiten.Mit Freunden in geselliger Runde, zu Gegrilltem oder auch Hackauflauf und nicht zu intensiven Käsesorten ein toller Begleiter.

Die alkoholische Gärung dieses zu 80% aus Merlot und zu 20% aus Cabernet Sauvignon bestehenden Rebsaftes dauert zwischen 8 bis 10 Tagen, mit zweimaligem Umpumpen am Tag. Dies unterstützt die optimale Extraktion der Aromen. Es folgt eine lange Mazeration von 25 bis 30 Tagen. Die malolaktische Gärung erfolgt in Tanks. Dort reift er weiter für etwa 18 Monate, bis er schließlich abgefüllt wird.Der Château La Maroutine 2018 überzeugt durch eine rubinrote Farbe. Die Nase zeigt charmante Kirschnoten und Kaffee- sowie Röstaromen. Am Gaumen vermittelt dieser Bordeaux eher einen weichen, vollen und runden Stil, wobei die Tannine zwar präsent, aber geschliffen und samtig sind. Der Merlot wirkt hier gut gereift und verführt mit schöner, dichter Frucht.Ein klassischer Bordeaux, der jetzt bis 2025 auf der Höhe der Trinkreife sein dürfte.Ein Genuß in geselliger Runde, aber auch sehr gut im food-pairing mit Gulasch, Braten oder zur Käseplatte.

Der Château Tour Saint Paul 2018 ist ein Bordeaux Supérieur, der auf Ton-Kalkboden wächst und eine Assemblage von 80% Merlot und 20% Cabernet Sauvignon aufweist. Dass ein guter Bordeaux nicht teuer sein muss, beweist dieser Wein.Er zeigt eine schöne dunkelrote Farbe mit leicht ziegelroten, terracotta-artigen Reflexen. In der Nase viel reife gekochte Früchte mit würzigen Untertönen, die von Röstnoten unterstützt werden. Die Tannine sind am Gaumen derzeit durchaus bemerkbar, werden aber von einer guten Frucht gegenbalanciert und dürften sich mit den Jahren etwas seidiger und eingebundener präsentieren. Der Nachhall ist durchaus lang und beeindruckend für einen Bordeaux Sup.Der Château Tour Saint Paul  ist ein toller Beweis dafür, dass im Bordelais immer noch Weine zu finden sind, die nicht das Portemonnaie sprengen und dennoch von hoher Qualität sind. Zu genießen als Wein in geselliger Runde, als Aperitif, zu rotem Fleisch, Wurstplatten oder Hartkäse.
