The La Motte Millennium is a remarkable blend from the traditional La Motte Wine Estate in South Africa's Franschhoek Valley.It is intense on the nose, with aromas of cherry, mulberry and cinnamon. Due to the ageing in oak barrels, notes of caramel are also noticeable. Velvety and juicy on the palate, with pronounced aromas of berries. A medium-bodied wine full of finesse and elegance.The grapes for La Motte Millennium come from the Walker Bay, Villiersdorp, Franschhoek and Stellenbosch regions. This diversity of terroirs also contributes to the special complexity. The different grape varieties matured separately for 12 months in French oak - 30% new barrels and 70% older barrels were used.Enjoy this wine with hearty roast lamb, game variations, grilled steaks and mature cheese.

La Sirène de Giscours Margaux is the second wine from the world-famous Château Giscours in Margaux and consists of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Cabernet Franc, 10% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot. A wonderful Margaux seducer that has benefited from 30% new barrels during maturation.A dark garnet red in the glass, the nose is delicately spicy, with dark berries, leading into a cedar bouquet, blackcurrants and some roasted notes. The body of this dry wine is round and deep, with spicy notes lingering on the long finish.Please decant this French red wine at least one hour before drinking! Of course, it can also be aged in the cellar for several years. It is a wonderful accompaniment to poultry dishes, game and mature cheeses.The ratings speak for themselves: James Suckling: 92-93, Neal Martin 89-91, Robert Parker says it is the best Sirène de Giscours ever.

The Landerer Insider Cuvée Rot is a wonderful red wine from Baden that is perfect for immersing yourself in the wine world of this award-winning winery on the Kaiserstuhl. Johannes Landerer has stood for innovative and high-quality viticulture for several years, and his red wines, white wines and rosé wines leave an impression on connoisseurs.The Landerer Insider Cuvée Rot is a creation of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. The latter grape variety in particular shows exceptional qualities in the Kaiserstuhl, the warmest region in Germany with vineyards characterized by volcanic rock.The red wine has a fascinatingly complex aroma of dark fruits such as cherries and blackcurrants. There is also a great spiciness, fine roasted aromas and nuances of nougat chocolate that round off the bouquet.On the palate, this dry red wine from the Kaiserstuhl is powerful and dense, with beautifully integrated, soft tannins and a noticeable spiciness. "A balanced red wine with a Mediterranean style", writes the Landerer winery itself. The finish is again fascinatingly fruity, with aromas of cherries, redcurrants and blackberries.This cuvée was aged for 12 months in barriques, with 30% new barrels and 70% second and third-fill barrels. Our Cabernet Sauvignon, the unsung hero of Barossa wine, has been matured in new (20%) and seasoned (80%) French Oak for two years, achieving the structure, depth and balance expected from this premium Australian grape growing region.In 1838 a 32 year old Blacksmith, Christian Auricht, arrived in South Australia from Prussia with his wife and four children. He subsequently settled in the new hamlet of Langmeil and built a smithy, around which grew the trading centre of the village.

Langmeil Jackman's Cabernet Sauvignon is a 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, based on 35+ year old vines. The wine matured 24 month in 50% new and 50% seasoned French oak Hogsheads. These are some of the fundamental components of a wonderful wine from the famous Barossa-region in South-Australia.The wine has a deep crimson colour with purple hues. On the nose lifted blackcurrants and blueberry aroma entwine with biscuity French oak, chocolate and hints of black olive and liquorice. On the palate bright, juicy. Blue and red fruits flow onto the palate which is medium to full bodied. Briary spice adds to the complexity and the sweet fruit is well balanced with fine, silky tannins which lengthen the fruitful and velvity finish.

The Langmeil Steadfast Shiraz / Cabernet combines two of Australia's most important grape varieties in a powerful yet balanced cuvée. Only the best grapes made it into this exceptional red wine. Fermentation and maturation took place in French oak. This expressive Cabernet-based blend is full of aromas of black cherry, chocolate, spices and a hint of cassis. On the palate, the Lanzerac Jonkershoek Reserve is juicy, supple and with silky, integrated tannins. Lanzerac Le General is a so-called Bordeaux Blend, which would be assigned to the left bank in Bordeaux, i.e. the Médoc region. This style has its origins in the classic blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Petit Verdot and Merlot.The grapes for this wine all come from the estate's best vineyards in the Jonkershoek Valley in Stellenbosch. The wine matured for 20 months in 1st and 2nd fill French oak barrels. This full-bodied blend announces vanilla and nutmeg spices before a flood of dark berries, cooked plums and blackcurrants hit the palate. Dark chocolate and a hint of smoke are supported by powerful, soft tannins and an endless finish. This vintage has already reached drinking maturity. Decanting recommended.Enjoy this wine with braised rack of lamb with fennel and orange or with a white chocolate mousse with cherries.

Der Le B par Maucaillou 2020 ist der Bordeaux Supérieur vom berühmten Château Maucaillou aus der renommierten Appellation Moulis. Maucaillou heißt übersetzt so viel wie schlechte Steine, was aus dem Kontext der Zeit der Namensgebung des Weinguts darauf hindeutet, dass der Boden aufgrund der dortigen großen Kiesel nicht für eine normale Landwirtschaft taugte. Die Kehrseite der Medaille war aber, dass das Terroir ideal für den Weinbau ist und Maucaillou seither fantastische Rebsäfte produziert, die in großen Jahrgängen, wie 2020, richtige Trouvaillen sind.Le B spiegelt die Frucht seines großen Bruders, dem Grand Vin, wieder und ist ein absoluter gute Laune-Knaller. Selten hat uns ein junger Bordeaux-Wein - mit einem solchen Preis-Leistungsverhältnis - direkt aus der Flasche heraus mit seinem Charme und seiner vollen und frischen Frucht begeistert. Wir hatten fast den Eindruck, einen guten Kalifornier vor uns stehen zu haben, so opulent verführte uns das tiefe Himbeerbukett dieses Weins.Pascal und Magalie Dourthe, die Eigentümer von Château Maucaillou bezeichnen diesen Rebsaft, der zur vollen roten Frucht auch noch schöne Röstnoten, Mokka und Gewürznoten präsentiert, als den perfekten Einstieg in das Universum dieses Weinguts. Dem kann man nur zustimmen.

Am Gaumen volumenreich, von vollem Körper und ganz viel schwarze Früchte. Der Abgang ist kräftig und lang anhaltend.Robert Parker: 92-94/100 Punkte; Jeb Dunnuck: 95/100 Punkte
