The sun-kissed grapes produce a dry red wine with a rich ruby hue and an inimitable spicy and fruity bouquet. Maturation in oak barrels also gives the wine from Italy fine aromas of coffee, coconut and laurel.The ideal drinking temperature for the Corte dei Mori Nero d'Avola Etichetta Blu is 15-18 °C. Besonders Nero d'Avola gehört zu den traditionellen Reben Siziliens, doch auch Syrah-Trauben fühlen sich wohl in dem mediterranen Klima, das auf der italienischen Insel herrscht.Im Glas imponiert dieser Rosé mit einem dunklen Lachston. Fruchtige Aromen von Erdbeere und Himbeere steigen in die Nase, bevor sich beim Genuss der milde Charakter mit einer angenehmen Säurestruktur offenbart. Das darauffolgende Finale ist lang anhaltend. Mit seiner leichten Frische erweist sich dieser elegante Tropfen als perfekter Sommerwein.Den Rosé aus dem Hause Corte dei Mori genießen Sie am besten bei 10 – 12 °C Trinktemperatur. The Coto de Imaz Rerserva is brick-colored with orange nuances typical of Rioja. Delicate notes of berries and jam dominate the palate, wrapped in smoky spice aromas and vanilla tones. This red wine is finely balanced with noticeable but incredibly soft and mild tannins and an intense, complex structure. The finish is long-lasting and elegant.The grapes come mainly from the clay soils of Rioja Alta, but also from the limestone soils of Rioja Alavesa. After the harvest, the grapes are gently pressed and fermented in stainless steel tanks. This is followed by 16 to 18 months of ageing in American barrique barrels. The Coto de Imaz Rerserva then matures in the bottle for at least two years before being released for sale.An excellent accompaniment to game dishes, confit de canard, grilled red meat or ham. Also wonderful with medium-aged, not too spicy cheese.

This Pinot Noir offers a fascinatingly multi-layered bouquet of rose petals, dark cherries, allspice, pepper, and anise. Winnie Bowman awards this Pinot Noir from the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley 4.5 stars (94 points!) in John Platter’s Wine Guide. Bowman notes earthy aromas of red and black fruits.The aromatic intensity on the palate is equally impressive. Lush notes of cherries and plums intermingle with earthy aromas of mushrooms and spices. Bowman further writes of a “spicy, defining tannin structure from 60% new oak for 12 months” and of a top-class wine with purity, precision, and enduring structure.This light ruby-red Pinot Noir matured for one year in oak barrels, about half of which were new. The barrels are meticulously selected—only the very best are used for this South African red wine. A large portion of the wine is vinified with whole bunches, without destemming or crushing. This method is particularly well suited to Pinot Noir, as it allows for greater extraction of color, aroma, and structure.Look forward to an outstanding Pinot Noir best enjoyed at a serving temperature of 16 to 18 degrees Celsius. The bouquet of this outstanding Chenin Blanc has a multi-layered aroma of ginger, tomato leaf, apple peel and honey. Notes of lime and quince also enrich the bouquet.The interplay of aromas continues to unfold on the palate: fresh green apple and the creaminess of coconut milk in the background.
