Bodegas Armas de Guerra Mencia Crianza DO 2020

This Crianza comes from the Bierzo region and is made from 100% Mencia grapes, an autochthonous grape variety from northwestern Spain. In recent years, more and more wonderfully elegant wines have been produced in this emerging region, one of which is the Armas de Guerra Mencia Crianza. The grapes for this wine come from bush vines that are between 65 and 85 years old and grow mainly on clay and slate soils. The vineyards are situated about 450 to 600 metres above sea level. Harvesting is done by hand. The wine was aged in stainless steel tanks and concrete barrels for almost 50 days before it matured for another 12 months in French oak casks.The Armas de Guerra Mencia Crianza is a deep cherry-red in the glass with light glints on the rim. The wine is redolent of ripe red and black fruit, along with noticeable mineral aromas and fine wooden notes. It is sumptuous, fresh and fleshy on the palate, with silky, supple tannins. The finish is characterised by notes of peppermint, once again underlining the wine’s special aromas.The Armas de Guerra Mencia Crianza is currently at the peak of its maturity but can also be enjoyed over the next three to four years. It is an ideal accompaniment to hearty meat dishes.

The Armas de Guerra Rosado comes from the Bierzo region in northwestern Spain. It is made from the Mencia grape variety, which is cultivated exclusively in northwestern and central Spain. The wine is a light cherry-red in the glass. On the nose, it offers lovely notes of wildflowers and lavender in particular, underpinned by aromas of ripe red fruit. The palate is characterised by mineral notes and an abundance of fruit. The grapes for the Armas de Guerra Mencia Tinto come from the autochthonous Mencia vines that are cultivated mainly in northwestern Spain in the Bierzo region, amongst others. After pressing, the grapes were aged in stainless steel tanks for 20 days. This wine, in which freshness and fruitiness predominate, can be enjoyed young. The Armas de Guerra Mencia Tinto is cherry-red in the glass, with deep purple glints. The nose is dominated by aromas of red and black fruit. The intense bouquet is complemented by earthy notes and a hint of balsamico. The Armas de Guerra Mencia Tinto is harmonious and clear on the palate. Bodegas LAN Culmen Reserva 2017

Intense and bright cherry colour.Ripe fruit nose, with hints of plums, cherries and wildberries. Spicy, roasted and balsamic aromas. Memories of mineral notes, which identify it with the vineyard. Culmen is only produced from harvests of outstanding quality.Grape varieties: 89% Tempranillo, 11% GracianoSelected grapes from 40 years old vines coming from "Pago EI Rincón", located at own vineyard "Viñia Lanciano". Grapes are picked up by hand and afterwards selected, grain by grain at sorting tables. Fermentation of destalked grapes takes place in new small stainless steel tanks to obtain the best colour extraction. Malolactic fermentation took place in new French Allier oak.Aging: During 20 months in new French oak barrel followed by 18 months in the bottle.

In der Anbauregion Toro (im Herzen Spaniens in der Region Kastilien-León) bringt die Tinta de Toro unverwechselbare Qualitäten hervor. Der Bodegas Los Llanos Pata Negra Toro zeigt das eindrucksvoll.Dieser spanische Rotwein duftet intensiv nach Brombeeren.
